Chapter 59

Married with Kids 

Alli's Perspective

"Hi," I said politely while Keaton introduced me to his aunt and uncle. They had 

three kids. Justin was 6. Grace was 3 and Mac was 2. "Hi," I laughed as Grace 

hugged my legs. She giggled, smiling up at me. Keaton brought us into the living 

room where Mac was in his playpen and Justin was playing video games. "Keaton!" 

He screamed and jumped onto him. "Oooo," he said looking at me. "This is the 

girl my mom says Keaton always talks about." "Really?" I asked sitting next to 

Keaton. Mac suddenly stood himself up in the playpen pointing at me. "See?" 

Keaton pointed, "They already love you." I took Mac out of his playpen and held 

him as I sat back down next to Keaton. He was making baby faces at Mac. After 

playing with the kids for a few hours we all sat back down to watch a movie. I 

sat on Keaton's lap after putting Mac to bed. "Are you married?" Grace asked.  

"No," I laughed. "Oh you should," Grace continued. "We should," Keaton supported 

looking at me. "You can be the flower girl, Grace." Grace screeched at that. 

Justin spoke up next. "Mac can be your baby." Keaton and I both laughed. "Yes. 

Married with kids at the age of 16. Definitely," Keaton said, kissing me.  

Keaton's Perspective

"Please don't go," Grace and Justin sobbed.  I couldn't believe how attached 

they had gotten in a few hours. "Keaton can't leave Mommy," Justin begged. 

"We'll come back again," Alli suggested, kneeling down before them. "They have 

to go now," my aunt tried. I gave Grace a hug and moved on to Justin but when I 

went to let go he didn't. My aunt actually had to pry him off of me. I could see 

Alli's eyes filling up with tears as she did the same. "Don't go," I could hear 

them say as I lead Alli out the door. "They really love you," I told Alli trying 

to make her smile. She nodded. I could tell she didn't want to leave them 

either. I reached across the seat and pulled her into a hug. "They were right 

about everything they said though," I said referring to their comments about us 

getting married and having kids. Alli only laughed as I pulled out of the 

driveway.
