Chapter 28:

The Fam

Alli's Perspective

Ketaon opened the door and immediately, warm air and amazing smells engulfed me.

I heard yips and barks before I felt dogs jumping up on me. "Down," Keaton

commanded to them. I bent down. "Awww Keaton, they're just excited. It's fine,"

I said while I pet the dogs. "Hi," I cooed in a ridiculous voice that old people

use to talk to babies. "Alli!!!!" I stood up as I saw Wesley and Drew charging

at me. Their arms wrapped around me and squeezed me until I couldn't breath.

"Hi," I laughed. I loved when the boys did this. They were so welcoming and made

everything comfortable. "Keaton! You didn't take her coat?!?!?" Wesley accused.

"Yeah man what's wrong with you?" Drew added after Wesley took my coat. "Well

the way you two took Alli away from me, I didn't get the chance." "Excuses.

excuses," Drew shook his head. I giggled. "Boys, let the girl breath!" Mrs.

Stromberg stepped into view. "You must be Alli," she said. She look beautiful.

She had on a black dress with red heels and her hair was curled. You could tell

that she took fashion very seriously. I was glad CeCe and the boys helped me

pick out something. "Yes I am. Nice to meet you Mrs. Stromberg," Isaid unsure of

what to do next.

I stuck out my hand. "Honey please call me Laraine and put that hand away so I

can give you a hug." Wow, Keaton's family is probably the most welcoming family

I've ever seen except for in movies. I smiled. "This is my husband, William,"

she introduced me. "Hi..." I trailed off. I didn't know what  to call him.

"William," he finished for me with a smile. "You really are gorgeous," he said.

I blushed. "Thank you." "Um let's go meet everyone else," Keaton suggested. He

quickly led me away. After we met everyone, we sat together on the couch. The

dogs jumped up next to me. I laughed. "Why do they keep following you around?"

Keaton asked. You shrugged as you pet them. "You never told me their names," I

said. "Cindy and Lacey," Keaton answered. He pulled me closer into him and I

laid my head on his chest. Again, the dogs moved in. I laughed. "Alright

everyone time to eat," Mrs. Stromberg called. "I don't want to get up," Keaton

moaned. "C'mon babe," I said pulling him up. After my struggle with Keaton we

sat down to dinner.

"I would just like to start off this dinner by recognizing our special guest,

Alli. We finally get to meet you after all talk about you from the boys. I'm

sure we'll see you soon again. Well I think I've said enough so let's eat now,"

Mr. Stromberg finished. Keaton grabbed my hand under the table. Finally, it was

time to go home. "Don't go Alli!" Yelled Wesley and Drew, trying to fake cry.

They pulled me into a bear hug and wouldn't let go. Eventually they did and

Keaton drove me back to his place. I finally realized that I'm more than just

another girl to Keaton's family. They actually considered me part of their

family now. "This was the best Christmas I ever had," I whispered. "And I still

have to give you your present," Keaton smirked.
