Chapter8:Be Mine

ALLI'S PROSPECTIVE

As soon as I got home I plumped onto my bed and let the silent tears roll down. 

I know we weren't official but I thought I meant something more to him. I don't 

know. I felt my phone vibrate but I chose to ignore it and go and take a shower 

to try to get my mind off of things. Once I was finished with my shower I walked 

back into my room in sweats and a tanktop. There was really nothing to do 

tonight since my grandmother was at work. She was always working,no matter what. 

I  went into the kitchen of our apartment and started to cook pasta. Just as I 

was about to put sauce on I heard a knocking at the door. I walked over to the 

door and opened it to reveal a worried looking Keaton. Before I could even 

manage to say or feel anything he was charging for me and his lips hungrily 

attacked mine. I didn't know what else to do but kiss back,so that's what I did. 

His lips were so soft and so perfect when they were against mine. After he 

pulled away he whispered something against my lips. "I love you Alli" I didn't 

know what to say considering I barely could even comprehend what was happening 

right now anyways. "I love you too Keaton" I whispered back in response. He 

wrapped his arms around my waist and kissing me with every ounce that was 

possibly in him as he closed the door behind us going inside. After kissing in 

front of the door we managed to stop kissing and walked into the kitchen."It's 

small in here..." He said sitting down at the table. "Y-yeah" I stuttered as I 

finished my food. "Are you hungry?" I asked. Keaton simply shook his head no and 

carried on looking around. "Alli,who lives here with you?" He asked suddenly 

worried. "M-my grandmother" I stuttered out again while eating my pasta.

"Alli,the lights are flickering and the wall is torn down" He said. This was 

everything I already knew. I felt some tears roll down my face and I put the 

bowl of pasta down. "I'm sorry Alli,it's just,I want you to be safe okay.And I 

don-" I interrupted him. "My parents left me when I was three. My grandmother is 

working three jobs,this is all we can afford please just stop" I said with tears 

streaming down my face. "I understand" Keaton his looking down at me and kissed 

the top of my head. "You look so tired Alli" Keaton said lifting me up and 

bringing me into my room am laying me down on the bed. "Alli?" Keaton asked. 

"Yeah?" I said looking at him. He sat on my bed and lifted me into his lap and 

wrapped his arms around my waist entwining his fingers with mine. "Will you be 

my girlfriend?" He whispered gently over my shoulder. Did he just ask me to be 

his girlfriend? Oh.my.god. "Yes"

"Finally" Keaton whispered before attacking me with his lips. I immediately 

kissed back wrapping my arms around his neck. "Your so perfect Alli" Keaton 

whispered pulling some hair behind me ear and touching his forehead against 

mine. "Not as perfect as you" I said with a smile. Keaton pulled me down next to 

him on my bed so I quickly cuddled into him feeling warm. "Your so warm,don't 

leave" I whispered into his chest. "I'll never leave" I heard him whisper before 

I fell into a deep sleep.
