Complicated

Chapter Fourteen

I woke up feeling tingly. I was on bed; my body was covered with the sheets. An arm was wrapped around me, and I felt his head nuzzled in between my breasts. His legs were tangled in with mine, forcing me to stay with him, unable to move. I realized Chris was still here, sleeping on me.

I can’t believe this man is mine. He’s so confusing, yet so irresistible. He looks so calm and peaceful while he’s asleep. His lips are partially parted as he breathes easily. His hair is messy from our “fun” time. His chest rises up and down as I place my hand on him. I start to randomly draw random figures on his chest, and he stirs in his sleep. He doesn’t open his eyes but wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me close to him and nuzzles his head in my hair.

“Do you have any plans for today?” He asked me as he put my hair behind my ear.

 “Well, I have a lot of homework since I’m still in college. Plus, my boss gave me an entire presentation to work on since he included my design, so I don’t think I’ll be free today” I replied with a grin spread across my face.

“How about tonight?” he asked.

“I don’t know. I still might be busy. What do you have in mind?”

“I was thinking we go out for dinner. My friend just bought a new club and invited me for the opening night” Wow, his friend owns a club. He owns a company. And me – well, I’m an intern.

“I don’t know” I replied frankly.

“Why not? I don’t think your boss will mind if you don’t work on your project tonight” he replied mockingly.

“It’s not that” I assured him. “It’s just, your friends are so out there and big and” I lost words and just shrugged.

“You’re gonna be big too. Stick by me and you’ll be well known in two seconds” he assured me.

I smiled at his assurance and replied, “Fine, I’ll go, for you”

He leaned in close for a peck, which then turned into something more.
