The next morning I woke up as the sun shone brightly through the curtains, and as I opened my eyes, I was blinded by the strong rays. Groaning, I turned my head and dug it deeper into the pillow for a while before grabbing my phone from the bedside table.

The clock read 10:43, which made me jump out of bed.

Shit! I had to meet Chris at his place at 10. Grabbing a random outfit from my closet, I ran to the bathroom to shower and get ready.

I was showered and dressed in twenty-five minutes, and heading out. I decided on wearing a black floral shirt, with black jeans, and flats (outfit in external link). Walking out of my room, I noticed Jade was sleeping, and thinking of last night, I decided to let her sleep, and I walked out, quietly shutting the door behind me.

In fifteen minutes, I had Chris’ car parked in his driveway, but I was surprised to find another car next to me. It was a red BMW, two-door convertible with the top down. Ignoring the car, I stepped out of Chris’ car and walked to his door. After ringing the doorbell, and waiting a few seconds, a man in a black slacks and a white button up shirt opened the door.

Strange, I don’t remember seeing him last night.

“Hi, I’m MacKayla Jackson, I’m here to see Chris”

“Mr. Grey is currently occupied, but please enter” He ushered me into the home, and shut the door behind me. “I’ll notify Mr. Grey you’re here, but please take a seat” He pointed to the couches and walked to two double doors, leading to a grand room, possibly the study.

I took a seat on one of the two-seat couches and admired everything in the large room. Since last night I didn’t really see everything, or anything at all, I took my time to look at all the paintings hanging on the walls. They were mostly abstract paintings with subtle colors splattered across the canvas.

“Admiring the paintings?” A deep voice spoke behind me, startling me.

“Hi” I whispered.

“Hi” He walked closer to me and handed me his hand. Gladly, I placed my hand in his and he gently picked me up, wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tight.

“Sorry I’m late”

He shook his head, “It’s okay” and kissed my lips briefly.

“Here are your keys” I handed him his keys and he put them in his pants pocket. “Do you have work?”

“No; I cleared my schedule for today”

“So what do you want to do?”

“Anything; maybe we can finish what we started last night” He whispered before placing his lips on mine, gently, as he tugged on my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I gladly gave.

“I’ll be leaving now –” A familiar voice spoke behind Chris, but stoppedmidway as she saw us. Peeking above Chris’ shoulder, I noticed the familiar figure. It was Caroline.

“MacKayla, how nice to meet you again”

“The feeling’s mutual”

“Brandon will walk you out” Chris told her as the same man who opened the door for me entered the grand room.

“Ma’am”

“Brandon” She replied as she walked out.

“What was she doing here?” I asked Chris after Brandon closed the door and walked to a separate room.

“We had to discuss something for the company”

“Is she part of a different department?”

“Not exactly”

“Then what is it?”

“We own a separate company; well, she owns it, but I help her out with it, financially”

“Oh”

“It’s nothing really; just a small start-up” He moved a bit of my hair from my neck before gently kissing it.

“What type of company is it?”

“A small bakery; I can take you if you want”

“I’m not hungry”

“I am” He replied, deeply, as he stared at me.

He placed gentle, feather kisses on my neck as he moved up to my jaw and the side of my lips, before placing a gently kiss on my lips. He tugged on my lower lip, asking for entrance, and I gladly gave in as his tongue entered my mouth and danced in my mouth. His hands dropped lower – from my back to my behind, as he softly squeezed it. My hands were wrapped around his neck, and my fingers lightly played with his hair. As we were about to deepen it some more, Chris spoke between our lips, “Jump”. Jumping, I wrapped my legs around his waist, and he walked to his bedroom.

It was a large, white room, with high walls and a bed, bigger than an average king-size, placed in the center.

Chris walked towards the bed, and I felt the edge of it with my feet before he gently dropped me onto it. His mouth left mine for a bit as he dropped me, but captured it again and I felt him smirk in the kiss as he deepened it. “Now where were we?” He whispered into the kiss before unbuttoning my shirt, slowly, teasing me.
