The perfectly cooked and served spaghetti was now on the floor. Even the meatballs were lying on the floor.
The floor had a great treat today-
I am soooo jealous of the floor!
'Explain yourselves.' I told Mae and Shane. I put a hand on my waist.
Shane chuckled.
'What?' I asked him annoyed.
'You look so cute when you try to act bossy.' He admitted and pressed his lips together to hide his smile.
'Mae?' I asked her ignoring Shane. I know my cheeks must be red by now, but I need to act normal.
'We lifted the plates and as we were about to walk outta the kitchen, we both bumped into each other.' She replied.
'You look horrified.' Shane said.
'Do I?' I asked eyeing him angrily.
'What are we gonna eat now?' I asked them both.
'Uh I could cook something again.' Shane replied shrugging.
'Or we could just pick up the stuff on the floor and eat them?' Mae suggested. I know she was joking-
She can't be serious about this-
'I will make some popcorn. You both go and watch the movie.' I said.
'We will start the movie when you come.' Mae said putting an arm around me.
'If you want.' I replied.
'Who's gonna clean this mess?' Mae asked.
'Me.' I replied annoyed.
'I will help.' Shane said smiling.
'Whatever.' I muttered under my breath. I can't believe he still makes me blush-
I am so annoyed at him!
Yeah! I am annoyed at him for making me blush!
'I will go and spend time with my phone. Cleaning isn't my thing.' Mae said.
'Go away.' Me and Shane said at the same time. I looked at him. He smiled.
I cooked some popcorn while Shane did the cleaning.
'Which movie has Luke put on?' Shane asked me.
'The Conjuring.' I answered.
'What kind of movie is it?' he asked.
'Horror.' I replied.
'I haven't seen it.' He said.
'Me neither.'
'As far as I know, You are scared of horror movies.' He said mopping the floor clean.
'No I am not.' I lied and scoffed to hide the nervousness in my voice.
'There is something behind you!' Shane said in an alarmed voice.
It made me jump. I bumped into Shane's chest.
He smirked.
'You are so cute.' He mumbled.
I looked up at him. He held my chin with his index finger and caressed my cheek with his thumb. I couldn't help but look down.
