Chapter 34- Wrong Moves

I can't believed Luke is adopted. It must be so hard for him. He lived in an orphanage for five years. He doesn't even remember his parents. I also don't remember my mom. I wish I got to knew her. He is walking me home. We walked in silence. I feel bad for him. I glanced at his face. He looks alright. Luke deserves so much. Am I even good enough for him?

'Luke are you happy with me?' I blurted out. He raised an eyebrow. 

'I am.' He said and looked forward. I smiled weakly. 

'Why are you so insecure?' he asked.

'I love you. You love me. I can tell it by the way you look at me.' he said.

'You are more than enough for me.' He said.

'I am glad to hear that.' I replied with a smile.

'Come here.' he said and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. 

Here we are hugging each other on the footpath. When he let go my lips caught his. I can feel him smiling. He released my lips and smiled at me. I just smiled back. He dropped me home and walked away. 

As I entered the house, Mae greeted me with a smile. Is she always here!? Ugh. I went up to my room. Before I could enter my room someone pulled my arm and I fell down. I opened my eyes and saw Shane. I was lying just above him on the floor. His  face was hardly inches away from mine. His eyes looked into mine. It felt like his eyes were asking me some questions. I gulped. My body had stiffened. I can't move. He slowly bought his lips closer to mine. NOOOO I CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN. I got up hurriedly and smiled at him. He got up and looked at me like nothing happened. GOOD!

'So, seems like you and Mae are doing pretty well.' I said breaking the awkward silence. 

'HUH? Oh yeah...She's nice.' He replied.

'Great.' I said giving him a thumb up.

'About today Erika I am so sorry.' he said.

'About what?' I asked.

'Uh....Like Mae hugged me before you. She's just a little hyped.' he said.

'I don't care Shane. It's alright.' I said smiling at him. Even though it wasn't alright!

'I know you are lying.' He said.

'I AM NOT LYING!' I said emphasizing each and every word.

He took a step closer and pushed back a strand of hair from my face. It seemed like I had stopped breathing. His eyes looked at me hungrily. I think his eyes had took control over me. His hands slipped to my waist. Even though it was wrong. I couldn't do nor say anything. 

He slowly moved his face closer to me and closed his eyes. My eyes were wide open. Before he could do anything more the doorbell rang. I pushed him away and ran to open the door. I opened the door and saw Luke.

'You forgot your pen at my house.' he said and handed me over my pen. 

'You could have give it to her tomorrow too.' Shane growled.

'Why Copper? Is there any problem?' Luke asked.

'The problem is you.' Shane said eyeing Luke angrily.

Luke scoffed. 'Same.' he said.

Shane smirked and asked 'Have you already got in her pants? That was your motive right?' 

Luke laughed. 'Well it's not my motive. I will make love to her at the right moment.' he said.

Shane pressed his lips together to avoid a laugh. 

'What about you? Fucked Mae already?' Luke asked.

'Well maybe I will. Like you I don't want to be an eighty year old virgin.' Shane replied. I just stood there stupidly looking at their faces. I want to kick their stupid faces!!! They literally act like kids!

'Eighty year virgin. Good one.' Luke said. His fists were clenched. 

'Its better than being a player.' Luke added. 

Luke and Shane were smiling at each other forcefully. 

'Anyone wants something to eat?' I asked.

'NO.' They replied together.

'I am just gonna go then.' I said.

'Yeah you go.' They replied together.

'What are you doing?' Luke asked.

'I could ask you the same thing.' Shane growled.

'I'm gonna go.' I said.

'Go.' They both said together again. Ugh!!!

I walked away from there. Before going to my room I looked back. They were glaring at each other.

I walked towards them angrily. I pushed them both apart.

'I don't wanna see you both together ever again-' I said glaring at them.

They both looked at me grumpily which made them look cute-

'It's better if you stay away from each other. Or you will rip out each other's heart.' I said and started to walk away.

I felt sudden clasp on both of my wrists. I looked behind and saw Luke grabbing one of my other and Shane grabbing the other one. I looked at them as they just glared at each other.......
