Me and Eiji were walking to the apartment.

"New York hasn't changed since we left." I said. "Though I'm not surprised." After a few minutes we walked passed an open alley. As I turned around a young boy ran into me and fell to the ground. He stood up immediately and grabbed onto my jacket,

"Help! They'll catch me!" He said. I knew right away what he meant and stepped in front of him. I kicked one of the guys guns out of his hand and picked it up and pointed it at the men that were now standing in front of us.

"Leave the child alone and I won't shoot." I said with no emotion.

The first man said, "Just give us him and we'll be on our way." Eiji had the kid pulled close to him, hugging him.

"Over my dead body." He said. Then the third man said,

"Come on kid, I'm sure these men won't take care of you like we do." I pointed the gun at the mens forehead and shot, Eiji hugged the kids head to his chest and told him,

"Don't look." I pointed the gun at the rest of the men,

"Go or you'll end up like you're friend." I said. They all ran back through the alley. I put the gun in my jacket and turned to the kid.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. He nodded while hugging Eiji.

"Can you help me?" He asked crying. I looked at Eiji who nodded.

"Yeah. We were just going home, you can come with us." I said.

"Okay." The kid said. Eiji picked him up and we continued walking to the Apartment with him.

When we made it there Eiji helped the kid shower and I made him soup.

While he ate we sat at the table with him. When he finished me and Eiji started asking questions,

"What's your name?" Eiji asked.

"Josh." Josh said in a quiet voice.

"How old are you?" Eiji asked.

"Eleven." He said.

"Okay. I see you were able to run from those men, did they do anything before you ran." I asked softly. Josh nodded,

"Yeah." He said. I looked at Eiji.

"What did they do?" It took all my strength just to ask that one question. With that Josh started crying.

"They!" Josh started, but he was crying so much. "They forced me to sleep with them!" And that hit me like a bullet to the heart, it also made me extremely nauseous. Eiji could see how upset I was,

"Ash..." He said. I quickly got up from the table and ran to the bathroom with my hand over my mouth. Eiji followed me, leaving Josh at the table. I was in the bathroom sitting at the toilet throwing up, and crying my eyes out. Eiji was holding my hair back and trying to comfort me.

"Ash, you'll be okay." He kept repeating. I kept crying knowing how much I could relate to this young child. And the fact that he's the same age I was when I was picked off the streets by Dino and his men. When my stomach settled I just hugged Eiji. We eventually walked back out to Josh who was sleeping at the chair.

"I need to do something about this." I said to Eiji. "I can't just sit here, I will only be able to think about all the young kids and teens that went through what I went through."

"I'm glad you want to help those kids." Eiji said putting his hand on my shoulder. "We can talk to Charlie or George tomorrow and bring Josh with us."

"Josh needs to recover. You stay with him, I'll go see Charlie tomorrow." I said.

Aslan went to see Charlie early in the morning, I stayed with Josh. When he saw me alone on the couch he was hesitant to walk up to me,

"You can come over here, it's okay. I won't hurt you." I said calmly. Josh quietly walked over and sat on the floor in front of me. I smiled at him.

"Where did the other man go?" Josh asked.

"He's out talking with our Police Officer friend." I told him.

"Okay." Josh said. "Will he be back?"

"Yeah, he'll be back soon." I said. Josh started rocking back and forth. I could tell he was uncomfortable. I didn't know what to say, even though Ash is my boyfriend and he went through the same thing. I decided to call Jessica because she would know how to help.
