Four Months Later
"Are you nervous?" Mira asked.
Blake shook her head, a smile gracing her beautiful face. "Not to marry him. I'm a bit nervous to be the center of attention though. What if I trip or something?"
"You'll do great up there marrying the love of your life," Jenna confirmed, giving her a quick side hug.
The door opened and Noah, Caiden's dad walked in. He was dressed in a black suit and looked handsome. Caiden definitely got his good looks from him.
"You look beautiful, Blake," he complimented.
She smiled and looked down at herself, having to agree with him. The wedding dress was gorgeous. She was excited for Caiden to see her in it. When she spotted it at the bridal shop, she knew he would want to tear it off her the second he saw her in it.
"Are you ready?"
She nodded her head and took his extended arm. Since Blake's father couldn't be there, Noah filled in for him. He would walk her down the aisle to her husband-to-be. While she wished her father could've been there, and she did cry quite a few times because he couldn't be, Noah was a great second best. He treated her like the daughter he'd never had. So did Trinty, Caiden's mom.
They stepped out of the building and Blake saw the guests sitting on the wooden benches in the field. Caiden had built her a small she-shed for her and her bridesmaids to get ready in since they had decided to have the wedding in their field.
Mira and Jenna lined up and walked down the aisle first. When they reached the alter, Noah patted her arm and they began to walk. Caiden turned around and stared at Blake, his mouth open slightly as he took in the sight of his gorgeous bride.
Fuck, she's beautiful, he thought as she walked toward him.
While her dress was beautiful and she looked like a princess in it, he wouldn't have cared if she showed up in shorts and a ripped t-shirt. All that mattered was her, that he was getting to marry her.
She smiled at him and he smiled back, infinitely enamored by her grace and beauty. He couldn't believe how lucky he was. He wasn't sure what he had done in his life to deserve her, but he was taking full advantage of it.
When Noah gave her away, he gripped her soft hands in his. A tear pulled at the corner of his eye, eliciting one of Blake's addictive laughs. Her eyes too were full of water.
"I love you," he whispered, for only her to hear the words, a special isolated moment between them in front of the audience.
"I love you, too," she whispered.
Blake smiled up at her soon-to-be husband, captivated by his handsome face. She was initially nervous to be the center of attention, but as she stood before him, the only thing on her mind was him. She didn't care about anyone else but him and her son who was being held by Caiden's best man.
"You may kiss your bride." Before the words had even left the officiants, Caiden's Aunt's mouth, Caiden was already kissing her, refusing to wait even a second to make her his wife. His hand cupped her neck while her hands rested on his biceps.
When he pulled away, Blake giggled, consumed by complete happiness. The happiness she had now, thanks to Caiden, she thought would be impossible to achieve. Two years ago, this was a dream, a dream she was certain would never come true. Caiden was the reason for any bit of pleasure in her life, and she would forever be thankful.

"Let's get you out of this dress," Caiden said seductively against her neck as he carried her up the stairs to their bedroom.
