"There we go," Caiden said to Wesley when he finished dressing him.

They were up at four in the morning because Wesley decided it was time to wake up. But shortly after Caiden held him to his chest and rocked him, he fell asleep again until six am.

Around eight o'clock he heard Blake beginning to move around from upstairs. "Do you like Blake?" He asked Wesley. Wesley didn't answer, but he did smile, giving Caiden the answer he already knew. It was obvious he liked Blake. He'd just stare at her anytime she held him and it was like he couldn't get enough of her.

"I like her, too."

A few minutes later he heard quiet footsteps descending from the stairs. Blake appeared in the kitchen and greeted them a good morning.

Caiden couldn't take his eyes off her. Seeing her wearing his clothes flared some possessive instincts deep within him. He never wanted to see her wearing her own clothes again.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked.

"Very. That bed is way more comfortable than mine," she answered.

"Good. Do eggs and sausage sound good for breakfast?"

"Yes, but I don't think I should stay much longer. I've been here all night and-." Her sentence was cut short when Caiden appeared in front of her and gripped her chin in between his fingers.

"Enough. Don't ever think your presence is a burden to me. Don't ever think that I'm inconveniencing myself when I do something for you. If I didn't want you here, then you wouldn't be here," he said. She watched as his eyes practically darkened with each word he spoke.

She sucked in a deep breath. She'd just been chastised by this man and all she could think about was how badly she wanted him to kiss her.

She nodded her head. "Okay."

He stared into her eyes a bit longer to solidify his point, then he turned around to open the fridge. "Eggs and sausage?" He asked, his voice, while still deep and husky, returned back to normal. It was like he was growling at her before.

"Yes, thank you."

After breakfast, Caiden loaded Wesley into the truck and drove Blake home. When they got to her house, he walked her to the doorstep. Before he left, he leaned his head in next to her's and kissed her soft cheek. Blake so badly wanted him to keep kissing her. She was hyper-aware of his body pressing against hers and it was almost overwhelming how her body responded to his touch.

"I'll see you Monday morning," he said.

"Yes, you will."

"Have a good weekend, sweetheart," he said. He turned from her and she watched him walk back to his truck. He waved before he pulled out of the driveway and took off down the road.

Sweetheart. He was changing up the nicknames and she didn't mind at all. He could call her shithead and she wouldn't care, just as long as the words came from his beautiful lips.

She sighed in relief when she saw her mother was gone. She must've been scheduled to work the Saturday morning shift. Blake walked inside and went up to her bedroom to change her clothes. Before she left Caiden's house, she put on her clothes from the previous day, and she wanted to change into fresh clothes.

She spent the rest of her day watching movies on her laptop while continuing to fantasize about Caiden.

The next Wednesday was when things between Caiden and Blake started to change. Caiden arrived home after work as usual, but this time he had a bouquet of flowers in his hand. "What are these for?" Blake asked when he handed them to her.
