Blake's eyes popped open when a stream of light coming in through the windows pointed directly into her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and stretched before turning over in Caiden's arms. He was still asleep, snoring softly next to her.

Lifting her hand, she placed it on his face and traced her thumb over the contours of his face. His jaw was sharp and strong, covered by a sexy five o clock shadow. Everything about him was sexy, really, Blake thought. She couldn't get enough of him.

She looked over his shoulder to the bedside table. The alarm clock read 7 am. She groaned and pressed her head against Caiden's chest, upset that she had woken up so early on a Saturday.

Her movements made Caiden stir and he woke up. He looked down at Blake and smiled at her before sitting up in the bed and stretching. "Good morning, darlin," he spoke, his voice laced with a deep morning huskiness.

"Good morning," she responded. "How'd you sleep?

"Mmmmh, wonderful, how about yourself?"

"Pretty good."

"That's good, darlin," he replied, reaching his arm out to pull her body closer to his. Her head then laid against his chest and her arm draped over his muscular abdomen.

"So, what are your plans for the day?" Blake asked him, watching the steady rise and fall of his chest.

"I don't have anything planned. Why?"

"No reason, just wondering. I was hoping maybe... to spend the weekend with you," she said sheepishly. She was proud of herself for being forward with what she wanted, even though she was shy.

"I would love that, sweetheart."

Blake giggled and moved her arm tighter around him to simulate a hug. "Thanks," she said.

"You don't have to ask me to sleepover. You can just tell me, or you don't even have to tell me. I'll get the hint when you crawl into my bed at night."

"That sounds good to me," she replied.

Blake stretched once more and then untangled her limbs from Caiden's body. "I'm gonna go check on Wesley," she said.

She ran a hand through her hair and stepped out of the room. She pushed Wesley's door the full way open to step inside. Wesley was in his crib, fully awake, playing with his feet. "What are you doing, baby?" She cooed as she walked closer.

Her movements caught the baby's attention and a big smile stretched across his face when he saw Blake. "Are you having a good morning?" She asked when she came to stand directly over his crib.

"Yeah, you look like it! No crying, no sad face, you just look so happy!"

Blake reached down and picked Wesley up, much to his delight. Then she took him to the changing table that was up against the wall and changed his diaper. When she turned around with Wesley pressed against her chest, she jumped slightly when she noticed Caiden leaning against the door frame. "Gosh!" She exclaimed. "Don't sneak up on me like that, Caiden," she scolded.

He smiled a little. "Sorry, sweetheart. You are so good with him," he said, his eyes moving back and forth between Wesley and Blake.

Blake shrugged her shoulders. "I try," she said. She wasn't a parent or anything, but she did love babies and she tried her hardest to be the best she could for Wesley and for Caiden who entrusted her with his son's wellbeing.

"I couldn't have picked anyone better for this job, and thank the sweet Lord above that I didn't."

"Were there any other contenders?" Blake asked.
