Chapter 17: Chase

Shinichiro's P.O.V

I went out about to go to the store when I could see Waka stomping towards me with his eyebrows furrowed

"Shinichiro" He called then I turned to him as i smiled

"What is it Waka?" I asked as he stopped in front of me "Did you know?"

"What?" I asked then he let out a heavy sigh

"About (Y/n)" He says "Do you know that she's going to move?" He added I was shock for a minute but then later on I turned to the side "Well, that's great then" I smiled as about to turn my back when Waka pulled me

"You're gonna let her move away?!" He yelled.

I've never seen Waka so mad he used to be so calm and collected..

"She has her choice and staying here won't be great for her, I'm sure it's for her future" I said but the truth was it hurts.

It hurts to see her gone, that I wouldn't see her again but if it's for her future then I'll let go.

"I have to go Waka" I said pushing his hand off me

When I got back home I opened the door and three little kids turned their heads to me as Emma ran to me

"Brother is it true?! That (Y/n)-Nee is gonna move?!" I was shock by how she knew

"We listened to your conversation sorry" Keisuke says then I smiled

"Yeah" I answered making Emma pout as she looked down "Does that mean (Y/n)-Nee can't play with us anymore?" Emma-chan asked then I crouched down as I pat her head.

"(Y/n)-chan has a big dream to accomplish and for her dream to come true she has to study hard and moving to another country is her key to accomplish her dreams" I explained

"But I don't understand" Manjiro says "She's already good at everything! She's already smart!" He added as he looked down gritting his teeth.

"(Y/n)-Nee made her decision so there's nothing that we can do" I said as I stood up

"We can't but you can! You're just too stupid brother!!" Manjiro said with a bit of irritation in his voice as he stomped away

"Manjiro" I called as I looked at his little figure going inside the room.

Third Person's P.O.V

"Are you really sure about this (Y/n)-chan?" Her Father asked for the 100th time as she packed her things.

Her father was sitting on her bed as he watched her daughter packing her things

"I'm sure Dad" She says but the truth is she was doubting for a bit every time her Dad asks her.

"Really?" She stopped as she turned to her Father

"I can't do anything! I don't wanna go but I don't have a choice!" She said aloud as tears formed in her eyes

"We're sorry for pressuring you into this but you can back out anytime, you have until Monday" Her Father said as he stood up walking out of the door.

'If I stay then Shinichiro-kun would get kicked out of school and I don't want that to happen'

She bit her lip as she wiped her tears 'Yes it's better this way'

Fast Forward.. it was Monday and Shinichiro didn't go to school cause it would hurt him he knows that he's not going to see her again.

"Shinichiro someone's looking for you" Grandpa Sano says as Shinichiro went out of his room and saw (B/f/n) at the couch sitting

"What are you doing here?" He asked reluctantly his eyes cast downwards.

"Here" (B/f/n) hands a yearbook to him, he just stare at it as he reluctantly grabbed it

"What am I gonna do with this?" He asked then the girl stood up, opening the book in his hand as she pointed at a girl who was a bit chubby and she was at the very side, her eyes were at the young Shinichiro

"Recognize her?" She asked and Shinichiro shook his head

"She's (Y/n) you were classmates since you were kids!" She says as Shinichiro looked at the picture closely

"And what am I supposed to do?" He asked, (B/f/n) facepalms as she stares at Shinichiro

"Gosh you're stupider than I thought! (Y/n)-chan likes you can't you see that?!" She says with haste making Shinichiro snicker "And we know you liked her too just by how you stare at her" She sighed as she looked down

"Today (Y/n)-chan is gonna be moving to the States and we'll never see her again, she didn't even told me that she's going! I only heard from Waka" she sniffled

"She had her choice I don't want to ruin her future" He said about to walk back to his room when (B/f/n) pulled him back

"Can't you understand Shinichiro?! She's not moving just because she wanted too! She's moving because she loved you" She sobbed, my making his eyes widened "What does that have to do with me?" He asked

"My wife thought of kicking you out of school but it didn't happen because she sacrificed it for you" They turn to see (Y/n)'s father

"I'm sorry for barging in but I just wanted to talk to you personally, and Good morning by the way" He greeted as he bowed to the old man who was drinking coffee and the old man bowed his head back

As they sat on the couch

"Shinichiro right?" He asked as he smiled at Shinichiro.

"Hello Sir"

"You were the boy who saved my daughter, yes?" He asked and Shinichiro nodded.

"When my daughter heard that my wife would get you kicked out of school I could see her mad about it" He sighed

"I could see how much my daughter loved you because she sacrificed herself even if she goes to another country"

"Do you love my daughter?" He asked "Or you don't?"

"I...." He panted as he looked up with tears forming in his eyes

"I love her sir! But I can't do anything!" He answered with a loud voice "I want to stop her from going to another country but that would ruin her future" He added as he cried

"It may be too late now" He laugh bitterly "Maybe she's already leaving me" He added

"If you love her then go chase her" Mr.  (L/n) says making Shinichiro look at him with his mouth gape a bit "It's not too late her flight would be" He looked at his watch

"20 minutes!!" He almost yelled then he cleared his throat "Let's go before it's too late" He says as he stood up as he stare at Shinichiro

"If you stop my daughter from going I might support you!" He added.

Shinichiro turned to his grandfather who smiled "Go" he says

Mr. (L/n) drives as they arrived at the airport "20 seconds left!"

He ran and ran as he looked for (Y/n) but then it already went through the doors going to the plane and it was too late.

Times up.

"Dammit!! I couldn't do anything!" He yells
