Chapter 28: Rival (2)

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

The door bell rang as I hurried down the door, opening it and Rio's cheerful face greeted me.

"(Y/n)-chan!!" He pulled me in for a hug as he let out a giggle "I missed you so much!!" I smiled, replying "Yeah, me too!" He clasped my hands with his "Do you know how much I kept on thinking about you in the states I kept calling uncle...." 

He kept on talking and talking about how much he missed me and how glad he was that he's finally with me. "... I'll be here for 1 week and then I'll be going back to the states so" He pull me close "We're gonna have a 1 week date and you should be with me alone and no one else!" He smiled.

"Sure" I smiled back at him.

Third Person's P.O.V

Shinichiro was fiddling with his motor bike when suddenly he felt something in his chest, he was missing (Y/n), her face, her smile, and her laughter. He put his tool down as he stood up reaching for his phone, planning to call her but when he dialed her number, she didn't answer. He tried again..again... and again but still she didn't pick up making Shinichiro worry.

"What could've happened to her?" He lowly mumbled putting his phone down, there was this uneasy feeling in his chest that's telling him to go and check on her. He hurriedly pick his keys up as he went to his bike that was parked outside.

He drove as fast as he could towards (Y/n)'s place but before he could reach her place, a figure caught his eye, He slowed his pace as he stare at the girl who was holding a boys hand with a cheerful smile on her face.

Shinichiro stopped as he look at the two who looked like they were having fun. 

So maybe that was the uneasy feeling he had in his chest, the uneasiness that was on his chest faded and it felt like something was tugging his heart down. Something was welling up inside his heart.

Regret? Because he came to see her?

Jealousy? Because he saw her with someone else?

Emotions were mixing inside his heart that he didn't know what to do, He took a turn as he drove his way to his place with that sadness inside his heart. His heart broke everytime he remembers her cheerful face as she hold another boys hand. 

His heart was aching so bad, He suppressed his urge to cry as his throat felt like it was burning inside, it felt like a big lump was inside making it hard and painful to swallow.

He locked his self inside his room and a few minutes later a knock could be heard outside. "Brother I'm coming in" He heard Emma's voice as the door flung open revealing her little figure as she walked towards Shinichiro who was sulking at his bed.

"Are you okay?" She asked, Shinichiro forced a smile humming as he replied "Yeah, Is there something you want?" He asked, the little girl shook her head as she walked towards Shinichiro.

"When you arrive earlier you look very very sad, Why?" Emma asked as she sat on Shin's bed.

"No I wasn't" He tried to make it sound convincing with a smile on his face but Emma wasn't buying it, "Just so you know you suck in acting" Emma stated then later on sighed.

"Does it have something to do with (Y/n)-Nee?" She asked making the latter flinch visibly. "No, It's not" He quickly denied looking away from Emma's eyes.

"Yes, it is!" Emma crawled towards Shinichiro who's head was averted away from her, she stood on her knees pulling Shinichiro's head to face her.

"Did you broke up with her?" Emma asked with a firm and serious tone, Shinichiro shook his head as he replied "Why would I break up with her, I love her"
