Chapter 25: Miu

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I silently sat on the seat as I look at my sister who was sipping her milkshake, I called her to ask her some questions, I want to know more about this.

"I'm sorry for calling you out of the blue" I said then she just hummed as she put her milkshake down the table with a thud then she looked at me "It's okay" Her lips curved into a smile as she leans on her palm.

"I just want to ask you about-" Before I could finish my sentence she cut me off "Our family?" She scoffed as she lean on her chair with her arms crossed "You already found out?" She asked, My eyes fell on the milkshake as I nodded. "I happen to overhear their conversation, Dad explained it to me but it wasn't still enough" I sighed as I straightened my posture

"(Y/n) did you know why I left?" She asked, as she look outside the glass wall looking at the people passing by. I shook my head then I could see the corner of her lips raised, she smirked bitterly, I could see pain in her eyes.

"I left because of you" My eyes widened at her answer as I clench my fist. "You were so smart and Dad treats you more special than he treats me then I was jealous but I later on found out that I wasn't his but just someone else's kid" 

"Dad never gave Mom any attention so Mom slept with other men and then she got pregnant, I found my real father and turns out he was one of Mom's partner" She sighed as she turn to me with a smile "And I also left cause Mom already found me useless, she dumped me like a trash. But don't worry I don't resent you that was before! I was guilty by the fact that I hated an innocent child besides I love my little sis even tho we're not blood related" She added

"So we're not really sisters?" I asked my voice trembled, my breath hitched on my throat as I stare at her waiting for her answer, she lowly smiled and replied "No"

"And so is Eli and Aki" She added then I furrowed my brows "What do you mean?" I asked.

"You see, after your Mom gave birth to you she was kicked out of the house without you, cause Mom thought that she had to raise you different, a smart kid who she can brag to the whole world and of course to gain more fame!" She paused as she look at me right in the eyes "While your Mom, in order to live since she had a hard life worked as a brothel and then after she got pregnant she stopped" She finished

That mean's Aki and Eli are just my half siblings 

"If that's all I have to go" She stood up as she pat my shoulders, then she left. I ran a finger through my hair as I stood up.

I stood in front of the door, hesitating if I should knock or no. There were lots of what if's inside my head as I gulp, looking at the door.

What if she doesn't accept me like Sara or what if she denies it. 

I was so busy overthinking about it that the door opened and there I saw Miu standing, smiling at me kindly "I saw you over the window from my room" She informs as I took my hand back that froze in the air as I gulp. 

This is embarrassing! 

"Is there something you wanted to tell me?" She asked, should I tell her? I averted my gaze contemplating if I should tell her or what, she stares at me intently, I turn to her as I clench my fist

"I forgot to bring your umbrella!" Was what came out of my mouth, I could feel my face heating up in embarrassment, she stood at the door silently then afterwards she giggled "Is that what you wanted to tell me?" She giggled, my breath hitch in my throat.

"I'll get it back" I said about to leave when suddenly I felt a hand wrapped around my wrist pulling me backwards and then I could feel an arm around my shoulders. I tried to hold my breath in as the woman hugged me tight. 

It felt warm and nice. It felt like no one can hurt me here. So this is what it feels like to have your mother hug you, It was nice. 

"Do you mind me hugging you?" She asked, I swallowed the hard and burning feeling that was on my throat "No, not at all" I replied trying not to break my voice.

A few minutes later she broke out from the hug as she pulled me to face her, she cup my cheeks as she studied my face. There was joy and sadness in her eyes at the same time as she lets go of my face.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" She asked, my eyes widened as I averted my eyes I could feel my face heat up as I nodded "Yes" I shortly replied then I could hear her soft giggles.

"If you have the time introduce me to him" She puts a hand on top of my head as she gently pat my head with a kind smile on her face. I nodded as I smiled back at her.

Everyone was talking about what they were doing and dates and whatever while I just look at my notes studying for the upcoming test when suddenly my phone rang. I answered the call, putting it on my ear 

"Are you (Y/n) (L/n)?"  The caller asked making me raise my brow "Yes? Why?" I asked, his reply made my heart beat faster "I'll be right there!" I stood up dashing out of the classroom making some of my classmates turn to me.

When I arrived at the hospital I went straight to the counter asking the nurse where Miu was and they gave me the room number, I ran as fast as I could as I opened the door and saw Miu was on the hospital bed, lying with pale face. The heart monitoring machine was beside her bed detecting her heart. I panted as I walk towards her, Eli and Aki were crying on the corner as I put my hand on the bed for support.

"You came" She smiled as she weakly stares at me. 

"I'll leave you here to talk" The doctor said as he went out the room

"What's the meaning of this?" I asked "What happened?" She gently pull me down as she put a hand on my cheeks, caressing my cheeks with her thumb as a gentle smile curved on her face 

"You grown up so fast" She smiled as tears rolled down her temple, I put my hand on top of her hand as I tried to suppress my tears but to no avail. "Seeing your face, I can finally die happily" She says as her hand fell down but I caught it as I put it back on my cheeks sobbing. The monitor beep indicating she was dead

"There's still a lot of things I want to tell you like How I got on rank 1 and that I received a lot of awards and medals too, I wanted to show them to you and I still have lots of questions about you too how you and Dad met" I sobbed as I squeezed her cold and limp hand "You told me that you want to meet my boyfriend right? How can you meet him-  Please stay" 

Just as when I thought that I get to feel a mother's love, she left me. Again.

Eli and Aki went to my side as they hugged Mom's dead body.
