Chapter 33: I love you

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

Months has passed and it's gonna be Shin's birthday tomorrow, and I still haven't bought him any gifts. What could he like? I mean... Shin pretty much likes everything I give him, I want to give him something better what should it be?

"Sano-san" I turn to my side and saw Yamada-san standing with a worried expression on his face. "Y-Yes..?" I straightened my posture as I turn to him.

"Is everything okay? I've been calling you four times already" He said.

"You've been so out of yourself ever since last month" Said Saito-san who stopped near me. 

"Really?" Was I out of myself? I let out a heavy sigh as I looked at the computer in front of me. "Tomorrow is my husbands birthday and I still don't know what to get for his birthday" I sighed, Saito-san put a hand on my shoulder as he jerked her thumb at Yamada-san. 

"Ask Yamada-san he knows what men likes!" She confidently said, I turned to Yamada-san who scratched the back of his head then he smiled at me. I looked at him expectantly

"W-Well we men like just everything the woman we love offers" He said, I let out a sigh well this is hopeless. "Wasn't it helpful?" He asked.

"No, it's just that I already gave Shin all kinds of things on his birthday. When he turned 18 I gave him a pair of branded shoes and when he turned 19 I gave him a Black jacket then when he turned 20 I gave him a bunch of tools because he likes to fiddle with his bike very much and when he turned 21 I bought him his favorite perfume then when he turned 22 I gave him a bag and now I can't think of anything to give him" I said ending it with a long sigh.

"Have you tried a watch? a wrist watch?" I turn to him then I could feel that heavy feeling on my shoulders were lifted up. "Right! A watch! He once told me that he's gonna buy a watch but he still hasn't buy one yet" I gasped feeling happy but then later on paused 

"Where could I buy a perfect watch for him?" I lowly mumbled, deep in thought.

"I know a place" I turned to see Yamada-san with a smile on his face.

August 1, 2003

His birthday came and we decided to surprise him in his bike shop. 

"Brother's coming!" Mikey said as he ran back to his place after checking outside. We hid on our respective places waiting for the shutter to open. As soon as it opened, a faint footstep and shuffling of keys could be heard. 

"Happy Birthday!" Everybody jumped as they sang a birthday song, I slowly went out of my hiding place with the cake on my hand singing "...Happy Birthday to you~" 

I stood in front of him with the candles were lit up by Draken. I smiled at Shin "Happy Birthday Shin" I greeted once again. He blew the candle then he pulled my waist by surprise, kissing me on the lips.

"Hey! It's too early for romance!!" I could hear Mikey and Baji complaining behind us. I just giggled as I look at Shin. "Hey! You're just jealous!" He pointed at Mikey and Baji who stick their tongues out. 

"Now, Now let's eat!" I put the cake on the table that was placed on the corner then we started to eat and talk about almost everything. 

"Kazutora, here's a slice of cake" I smiled offering Kazutora a slice of cake which he kindly accepted. I gave Haruki and the others some. I looked at Shin who was fiddling on his bike as usual, I walk towards him with the cake in hand and on my other hand was my present.

"Shin" I called, he turn to me wiping his sweat using his arms. I bend down handing the present to him. "What's this?" He wiped his hand using the cloth that was near him before grabbing the bag.
