Chapter 24: Drunk

Shinichiro's P.O.V

She fell fast asleep with Mikey and Emma hugging her, I received a call from Mr. (L/n) asking if (y/n) was here and that he wanted to talk to me. While walking towards the street I saw a car parked and saw Mr. (L/n) from the open window. As soon as he saw me he lowly smiled as he waved his hand. I ran towards the car s I open the car door sitting on the shotgun seat slamming the car door close.

"I'm glad that you answered my calls and came here" He smiled handing me a can of drink. I bow my head as I leaned on the seat.

"I'm glad that she came to your house" He sighed "May I ask? What happened?" I asked then his eyes fell on the can that he was holding. "When I came home Sara was drunk and then she started to you know" He turned to me shrugging his shoulders "She tried seducing me but I didn't want it cause I was exhausted" He turned his eyes to wheel. "She was aggravated and then she started bringing up about what happened years ago" His brows scrunched. 

"And then suddenly when she opened the door (Y/n) was there she heard everything" He looked down with a grim expression "She heard the truth" 

"I tried to keep it a secret and that was a stupid move! This is all my fault" He ran a finger through his hair frustratingly as he down the can of soda. I down the soda as I let out a sigh.

"She was hurt you know?" I said as I look at him "You should apologize and explain it to her" I added and he sighed as he leaned on his seat looking up

"I can't even look at her right now... I'm... ashamed of myself" He said with a sad tone. "I wanted to tell her that but there were lots of what ifs in my head... I wanted to meet Miu she was the only woman that I loved" His lips curved into a smile as if  he remember a good memory.

"Miu and (Y/n) are alike you know?" He turned to me with a smile plastered on his face. "Miu was my classmate she was really smart and a.. Tsundere" He laughed as I giggled.. "Really?"

"Yeah! Everytime I tease her she would go all red and flustered and she looks cute when she speaks and then she stutters" It looked like he was having fun talking about Miu that he kept on smiling everytime he talks about her.

"But it was unfortunate that I was forced to be wed but I believed that fate really wanted me and her to meet again cause she became a maid in my house and that's when we did something that we shouldn't do and then (Y/n) was the result" He still had a smile plastered on his face

"But I never regretted it. I was glad that I had a daughter when I'm at work all I could think was her.. I kinda feel bad about myself cause I never had attended her birthdays and everytime she was awarded I was never there and that's what makes me sad" He sighed

"I hope she still forgive her old man, I love my daughter and I'll support everything that she does because it's the least that I could do.." 

I smiled at him "She will.. I know she has a soft heart and that's what made me like her" I scratched a finger on my cheek as I laughed awkwardly "Shinichiro, I'm glad my daughter met you.. Thank you for being there for here" He smiled. 

"But how can she forgive me when I did something bad" He sighed 

"If you apologize dummy" We jumped as soon as we heard a girls voice and outside the window we could see a girls figure making us shriek

"Keep it down! The neighbors are sleeping" She mumbled as she went inside the backseat.

"So this is where you were" She lowly mumbled as I clutched my heart that felt like it would break out of my ribcage "Did you heard our conversation?"

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

"Yes" I answered as I look down my knee. "I hate you for keeping all of this a secret, you should've told me earlier" I turned to the side as I look out of the window "But I know you had your reasons why you kept it" I smiled as I turn to him.
