(Y/n)'s P.O.V
I hugged my pillow as I looked at the ceiling.
Is Mom that upset? She doesn't even talk to me. I closed my eyes shut as I let out a sigh then afterwards I sat up as I put my pillow to the side then I went down the bed as I changed my clothes
Shin can't hang out with me due to a gang meeting and I have nothing else to do
Afterwards I went out after grabbing my wallet and my phone then I left the house
While walking on the bustling streets, I saw a familiar figure along the way.
"Aki?" I called making him turn, there was a lady with him, she was frail and pale but she had a kind smile plastered on her face as she smiled at me
"Go" The woman said as she turned to Aki "I'm gonna buy something so wait for me at the park bench and I'll fetch you there" She said then she turned to me with a smile as she let go of Aki's hand motioning him to go towards me. I smiled back as I held Aki's hand
"I'll be going now" She said as she took one last glance at me
We sat on the bench as I looked at him. hands on his knee as he looked down
"Why would protect me (Y/n)-Nee? I'm not even your real brother" He mumbled
"Aki whether you're my brother or not I'm not going to let anyone hurt you" I said as I put my hand on his hand that was on his knee, squeezing his hand.
"How is Eli?" I asked then he turned to me "Eli is okay but Mom isn't, she's getting sicker and sicker" He lowly said, sighing as he clenched his fist
"I wish I could help Mom but-" He sighed again as he lifted his head
"I don't know what to do if ever Mom would die, Where would Eli and I go?" He sobbed as he bit his lower lip. "And I don't want to lose Mom too" He sniffled. I looked at his face as I raised my thumb wiping his tears
"I'll find a way, don't worry Aki we'll treat your Mom" I pulled him close to my chest as I pat his back
"I told her that I could go alone and that I wanted her to stay at home but she insisted because she said that she's expecting to see someone" He said as he broke out from the hug
"Someone?" I asked when suddenly we heard a voice "Aki!" We turned to where the voice was and saw the lady, she walked towards us as Aki and I stood up
"Thank you for watching over Aki" She smiled as she looked at me "I'll carry your things" Aki said as he grabbed the heavy stuffy her Mom was holding but it was too heavy for him that he was struggling
"I'll carry it" I volunteered as I grabbed the bag, it was full of vegetables and groceries
"Are you sure?" Aki asked then I hummed in response
"We'll be going home you know?" He asked then I smiled "Your Mom can't carry this stuff you know and you too so I'll just go with you and bring these stuff" I said then I turned to the woman who was looking at me "I'll just carry it, We don't want to bother you" She said then I shook my head
"I'll do it Ma'am and I'm free today too" I smiled then she just giggled "Okay"
When we arrived at their house I saw Eli sitting at the doorstep and when she saw us her eyes lit up as she ran towards me "(Y/n)-Nee!!" She yelled as she hugged me
"Are you gonna spend your time with us here?" She asked smiling brightly "I'm just here to deliver these" I said as I scratched my cheeks "Why don't you eat lunch here for a bit?" I turned to the woman who had a gentle smile on her face
"Can I?" I asked then she nodded as she opened the door to the house.
"Come in?" She said as I took my shoes off then I went inside the house as I put the bag of groceries on top of the table
"I'll cook quickly so please make yourself comfortable" She said as she made her way to the kitchen. I looked around and saw a bunch of pictures it was Aki and Eli's picture when they were kids.
I smiled at the pictures that was on the wall, she was so kind and gentle. I wish Mom was like her. Gentle and Kind.
My eyes landed on a picture of a baby and she didn't look like Aki nor Eli, I looked closer and closer trying to identify the face. It can't be Aki cause the baby was a girl and It's not Eli either. Who could she be
"Is there something wrong?" I turned to where the voice came from and saw the woman
"Oh nothing" I scratched my neck as I smiled then I saw her turning to the picture "Are you confuse who is in the picture?" She asked as she stood beside me then I lowly nodded
"She's my eldest daughter" She said as she smiled while looking at the picture, I was stunned as I looked at her "Really? I didn't know Aki and Eli had one" I said as I turned to the picture. "Where is she?" I asked
"She died" I turned to Aki who chimed in "Oh sorry that I asked" I apologetically said. "No it's okay" The woman said with a kind smile on her face
After our lunch we played together and laughed until dusk.
"I have to go home" I said as I stood up patting my skirt "You'll hang out with us again right?" Eli asked then I pat her head "Of course" I replied
"Be careful" I turned to the woman as she handed me an umbrella "It looks like it's gonna rain and you should bring this umbrella" She said "T-Thank you" I bowed
They walked me outside as they stood of the door frame "Bye!" I waved my hand and I could see the woman smile as I left
Fast Forward
As I stood in front of the door, about to enter the house when suddenly I heard someone yelling, I leaned close to the door trying to listen
"SARA MOVE ON!" Dad yelled I leaned closer
"MOVE ON? AFTER YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH A MAID?!"
"CHEATED? YOU CHEATED ON ME FIRST SARA! AND I NEVER LOVED YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE WE WERE FORCED TO BE WED! REMEMBER THAT WELL!" Dad yells, I was stunned in my place. They were forced? What does that mean?
"SO THAT'S WHY YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH THAT MAID AND HAD A BABY?!"
"I LOVED HER THAT'S WHY! BUT BECAUSE OF YOU I CAN'T BE WITH HER!"
"FUCK YOU KENJI! I HATE YOU AND THAT KID! I SHOULD HAVE GOT RID OF HER SINCE THE FIRST DAY!"
"DON'T YOU DARE TALK BAD ABOUT OUR DAUGHTER"
"WHAT? YOU MEAN THAT MAIDS DAUGHTER? SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WITH HER MOM. (Y/N) IS THE RESULT OF YOUR UNFAITHFULNESS " I gasped as I took a step back letting go of the umbrella.
"SHE'S NOT MY DAUGHTER AND I'LL NEVER BE HER MOM I JUST ACCEPTED HER SO THAT SHE COULD BE MY LITTLE PUPPET!"
"YOU BITCH!" the door flung open revealing Mom and Dad who was enraged behind her
I took another step back as I looked at their face with tears brimming in my eyes
"(Y/n)-chan!" Dad called but my feet moved on their own as I ran away
"(Y/n)-chan!!" He yelled but I don't wanna listen anymore I ran and ran and let my feet take me to where it want to go
