Chapter 27: Rival

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I stare at his back, as he fiddle with his motor bike. I impatiently tap my foot on the floor, crossing my arms, I looked at the motor bike more like glaring at it. He spent his whole hour fiddling with that bike, I'm guessing this idiot didn't even notice I was here. 

I faked a cough but he didn't budge an inch, "Are you gonna ignore me Shin?" I spoke with a bit of irritation in my tone. 

"Oh (Y/n)-chan! you're here?" He turned to me with a bit of shock in his face. See? He doesn't even notice I was here all along! 

"I see you're.... busy" I coldly looked down his bike. "Yeah, Fixin' this sweet bike" He pulled a pack of cigarette in his pocket lighting one up as he slid the pack in his pocket then he put the cigarette between his lips.

There he goes again, smoking. "You should stay away from me for a while, I'm smoking" He said, He doesn't want me to get sick that's what he always says everytime he smokes I have to stay away from him.

"I'll just be inside the house enjoy your time with your bike" I turn my heels walking away from him, going inside the house as I spotted Emma sitting on the floor with her eyes fixed on the papers that was laid on the table in front of her.

"Emma-chan" I called, startling her as she looked over my direction. "Oh- (Y/n)-Nee" She calmly called, sighing in relief. "Are you okay?" I asked walking towards her.

"Yeah, I just have to answer these homework that our teacher left us" She sighed, I sat beside her  looking at the papers. "Mind if I help?" I asked, she looked at me with a questioning gaze.

"I thought you and Shinichiro-kun are gonna have a date?" She asked. Right! We were! I forgot about that since I was busy glaring at him and his precious bike. 

"Well yeah, but he's dating his bike right now and not me" I said, letting out an exasperated sigh, I could hear Emma laughing beside me "Are you jealous?" She laughed, holding her stomach. "No I'm not!" I denied turning my head away from her.

After a few minutes, We finished her homework as she thank me. "You're the best (Y/n)-Nee!" She hugged me, then afterwards she put all of her papers inside her bag.

I stood up, going outside to where Shin was, and there I saw him shirtless while fiddling with his bike with cigarette between his lips. I looked at his motor bike then back at him.

Starting from now on! You're my rival! I glared at his motor bike. Shin stood up and I could see his back very clearly. He was so dirty but he seems so happy as he smiled at his bike.

'I don't want you getting near me when I'm smoking, that's my rule' He stated

I clicked my tongue as I stare at his back. I don't care about your stupid rules. I stomped my way towards him hugging his back. He seemed to be startle at first his body was tensed at first but then later on he relaxed from my touch.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from me when I'm smoking?" He asked, I could smell a scent of smoke around here. "You said we were having a date, and I've been here for hours now" I broke out from the hug my eyes cast down. 

"You've been there with that motor bike ever since I got here you were so focused on that bike" I said letting out a sigh. "And you've been smoking too" I turn to him snatching the cigarette that was between his lips. 

"Hey that's- give it back!" He reached his hand out to snatch the cigarette but I took a step back. "No" I firmly stated, sighed as he placed his palm in front of him "Please" He looked at me straight in the eye, I cleared my throat as I shook my head. "No" I firmly stated.

He took another step forward but I took a step back "Please?" He asked, I took another step back as he step forward.

I gulped as I look at him, he looked hot and it's making me difficult to breath. He stepped closer as I took another step until my back hit the wall. I flinched at this rate he'll get the cigarette. Our faces were so close that my breath hitched in my throat.

It's even more difficult if he's this close. I could see the corner of his lip curved upwards forming into a smirk. Should I give the cigarette? I lifted my hand that had the cigarette about to give it to him.

When suddenly a pair of lips were on my lips, my eyes widened and then I realized. Shin was kissing me passionately. His other hand raised up to my face, cupping my cheeks. My knees were getting weak, my heart was pounding in my chest, it felt like it would break out of my ribcage.

My once tensed body, relaxed, closing my eyes as I kissed back.

We broke out from the kiss, Shin planted a kiss on my forehead then he looked back at me. "Are you jealous?" He asked, I averted my gaze from him "No" I denied then I could hear him laughing. "Yes, You are" He made me face him placing a quick kiss on my lips.

"Sorry if I didn't spend much time with you, But tonight I'll take you somewhere" He said stepping back putting a small distance between us and the breath that I was holding out for a while was released.

"I'll just get a shower and-" He gently grabbed the cigarette "Wash your hands" He said, We both stared at each other's eyes as silenced engulfed us.

"Are you playing a staring contest?" We broke out from the stare as we turn to Mikey who was boredly stepping inside "Have you been there for too long?" Shin asked then Mikey shrug his shoulders. "Not long after you guys kissed" Mikey responded

"What?!" I gasped, Heat crept up my face as I stare on Mikey's face that had a teasing smirk on his face. "Yeah, we saw you guys!" Baji appeared behind Mikey with a grin on his face.
