Chapter 26: First Kiss

2 years later

Everyone was busy arranging the flowers as the guests stood with a wine glass on their hands. Some were chatting.

The Sano family and Baji except Shinichiro who was yet to come were sitting on a special table that Mr. (L/n) prepared just for them.

Everyone was wearing fancy dresses, it was (Y/n)'s eighteenth birthday.

She was inside a room where they dressed her up so that she would look gorgeous on her birthday, she wore a red tube gown that showed her  smooth and beautiful (s/c) skin, it flow down the floor, it was rose designed gown, which fit to her perfectly.

Her hair was braided into a waterfall braid, while her (h/l) (h/c) flowed down back. She looked so gorgeous, she just had a simple make up on that her sister did.

"You're beautiful" Her sister looked at her with awe "So is your dance gonna be here?" She asked as (Y/n) smiled

"He'll be here" She smiled

Meanwhile Shinichiro on the other hand ran with the jacket of his suit on his shoulders as he panted.

He got into a little trouble, by trouble it means

Flashback

"Brother, we'll be going now you're gonna be late on (Y/n)-Nee's birthday!" Emma nagged as she poke Shinichiro's cheeks

"Emma leave your brother behind we'll just go without him!" The irritated old man yells as Emma sighed as she went out of Shin's room.

A few minutes later Shin woke up as he looked at the clock

"7:50 p.m?!!" He jolted up as he rushed straight to the bathroom and few minutes later he brush his teeth and after that he rushed to wear his suit.

After changing he dash outside his hair was unkempt but he didn't mind it all that was on his mind now was 'Shit I'm late!'

Suddenly his eyes caught a glimpse of an old woman carrying a heavy item, she was struggling as she took a step.

Shinichiro stopped as he panted turning to the old woman, contemplating if he should help or run.

"Can I help you with that?" Shinichiro offered the old woman a hand which the old woman smiled handing him the bags "Thank you, what a gentleman you are" 

They slowly walked due to the old woman, Shinichiro kept on checking his wrist watch then back to the direction. "Are you going somewhere young man?" The old woman asked making Shinichiro turn to her "Yes" He shortly replied

"It must pretty important are you sure you'll take me to the bus stop?" The old woman asked "Yes, I don't mind" Shinichiro responded as the old woman looked at him with a kind smile on her face. 

When they arrived the bus stop the old woman bowed her head as she thanked Shinichiro.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

It's already 8:29 one minute left and then the dance is gonna start. Shin where are you?

I fidgeted with my fingers looking at the door waiting for Shinichiro to appear 

"Okay! now it's time for the birthday girl to dance 18 boys will get to dance with her!" The MC announced, I turn to my Dad, sadly looking at him. Shinichiro was late, did something happened to him? He'll make it! He'll be my last dance.
