Chapter 32: Amusement Park (2)

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

My day off has come so Shin and I decided to have a little date on a brand new opened restaurant downtown, Well it was supposed to be just the two us but then.

"Oh! This one's delicious!" Haruki pointed at the cake that was displayed inside the glass.

"Wah! This parfait is one heck of a kind!" Mikey exclaimed, they all looked at the desserts with awe in their eyes. I could feel Shin sighing beside me but then later on he giggled. 

"The six of you go find some place to sit, my treat" I said and I could see their faces lit up. "You're the best (Y/n)-Nee!!" They exclaimed as they hurried to find their sits.

"Wait! Pick your orders first!" 

They sat from a different table while Shinichiro and I sat opposite each other eating the dessert we ordered. 

"We should buy something for Emma, Eli and Aki" I said, Shin nodded then he looked at me reaching his hand out to my cheeks. "Is there something.. on my face?" My breathing stopped as soon as his hand made contact with my chin, his thumb brushed on the corner of my lips.

Heat rose up to my cheeks, as I look at his alluring face making me swallow my nervousness. It felt like time slowed as he look at me with his beautiful black orbs, staring back at him he pulled his hand back.

"L-Let me wipe that-" I stopped when he licked the cream on his thumb then he smiled at me after proceeding to eat his cake. 

I should get used to him being like this because he's my husband but why won't my heart stop ramming inside my chest. 

Calm down.. Calm down

After our date we waved our hands to the boys as we left. "Where do you want to go?" He asked, I thought for a moment then something crossed my mind. 

"Amusement park" I mumbled, then I could see his lips curved into a smile, he reached his hand out to pull mine. "Let's go" 

As soon as we were on the amusement park it felt like the first time I stepped in here, gazing at the rides with awe recalling the first time I came here I was snapped out of my own little world.

"Remember the first time you came here?" I turn to my side and saw Shin looking at me, the lights inside the amusement park reflected in his eyes as he gazed right into mine eyes. 

"W-Well yeah" I averted my gaze away from him, I could feel a hand wrapped around my hand making me turn to him, he pulled me towards the ferris wheel.

When we got inside, he sat across me, it started to go up as I look out of the window. As soon as we were on the top I look at the sun that was about to set. "Shin! Look it's beautiful" I leaned on the window looking at the beautiful scene, you could see everything up here.

I turn to Shin and saw him looking at me, 

Was I too childish?!

I cleared my throat as I sat straight. "(Y/n) I've always wanted to try this since we started dating" He stated, I looked at him and there he was again, smiling at me as he leaned close and close and close. Closing the distance between us as he tilted my head gently to the side after planting a kiss on my lips. It was gentle and passionate.

From the corner of my eyes, the glimpse of the sun going down made it more... romantic.

I closed my eyes kissing back at Shin. I wish it would stay like this forever.

After the long discussion I went straight to the office with a coffee in my hand. Sighing as I closed my eyes. Teaching kids is kind of exhausting. I took a sip of my coffee then I looked at the papers. 

"Sano-san" I turned in front of me and saw Yamada-san standing in front of my desk. "Yes?" I kindly asked with a smile on my face.

"We want to invite you for a dinner just us teachers" he said, I stopped and thought for a second just as when I was about to decline the offer Saito-san interrupted. "She would love to!"

"Huh?" I looked at her then she leaned on my ears whispering "Come on! It's fun this just happens once you know" She said in a convincing tone, "B-But-" I was about to reason out but then she spoke.

"Yey! She'll come!" 

After their little plans, I decided to call Shin and talk to him about it. 

"You should go and have fun. I'll be fine" Was all he said. So here I am sitting with my fellow teachers, they were chugging their beer but I just drank juice since beer isn't my taste.

"Oh- Sano-san drink some beer with us" Yamada-san offered. "I'm sorry, I can't I don't usually drink strong drink" I humbly declined. 

"Come on... don't be a party pooper" Saito-san who was now drunk after one shot of beer swayed to the side. I'd rather be called a party pooper than drinking beer. I sighed as I took another sip of my juice.

They started to talk about their love-life while I just sat quietly listening to them talk about their husband and their wife. 

"How about you Sano-san?" I paused for a minute as I turn to the  woman who was in front of me leaning on her hand, with anticipation on her face.

"Me?" I asked then she nodded, everyone who was on the table leaned with excitement on their faces. 

"How'd you meet that hot chunk of a husband of yours? Tell us your love story" I looked at the glass filled with juice in my hand and I could see my reflection on it as drops of water dripped down the glass.

"Well, we were classmates since we were on elementary" I said then they nodded. "What's your husband like?" They started to ask me about Shin which I answered truthfully. 

I checked the time and it was already 10 p.m. I looked at them with an apologetic smile on "I'm sorry but I'm afraid I have to go home first" I grabbed my bag up as I stood up, as I was about to leave a hand was wrapped around mine. I turned to see Yamada-san with a smile on his face.

"Mind if I walk you home it's dangerous for a woman to walk on the streets" He said offering me a smile, I looked at his hand that was wrapped around mine then back at him. 

"It would be a bother Yamada-san" I said carefully pulling my hand out of his grasp. He shook his head after replying "No, I don't mind at all" I looked at him for a minute.

When were almost in Shin's Bike shop and I saw he was just closing his shop. I ran to him calling out his name. "Shin!" I stopped in front of him and I could see bead of sweat on his forehead as he smiled at me. 

"(Y/n)-" He looked behind me and there Yamada-san stood beside me. "Oh- Shin this Yamada-san" I said introducing Yamada-san who reached his hand for a handshake which Shin kindly accepted. 

"Nice to meet you, you must Sano-san's lovely husband" Shin pulled me by the waist as he nodded. "Yeah" 

"Well, that's all I came here for. See you tomorrow Sano-san" He waved his hand at me, I waved my hand back then I turned to Shin as I held his hand. 

"Have you eaten yet?" I asked, He nodded as he leaned towards me, sniffing. "W-What?!" I took a step back then he smiled. "You only drank juice?" He asked, I grabbed the keys on his hand as I turn my back locking the shop.

"So what about it" I shortly replied. "That's lame" He teased

"Shut up!" I stood up giving him back his keys. "Let's go you must be tired" I pulled a handkerchief out of my back as I wiped the sweats that was on his forehead.
