Chan p.o.v

Walking through somewhere quiet, I can't find anyone except me being here. Though it's far late at night, with the dim light from the street light, I could somehow manage know where my feet have taken me to. A park called The Peaceful Park. As it names, this park is known for its peacefulness.

I take a seat near the river that flow across this park. As its inside The Peaceful Park, the river is name as The Calming River. Taking a deep breath before letting it out followed by a sigh. Today just went wrong. It's has went wrong starting from three days ago. Everything. I can't seems to think even one thing that go on right.

Screwing up my presentation I had prepared for weeks, accidentally bumping here and there while working part time made me lost my job, tripping over nothing ending up with an injured ankle, can my day get worsen?

Last month, I was told that I suffered from depression and I'm currently taking some meds which explain why I have a bottle of meds and small blade in my pocket. They said that when you make a single cut, the pain will cover all your sadness and your problems will be forgotten. I wonder if it's true.

I found out that I suffered from depression because my friends literally force me to a psychiatrists as they told me that I look gloomier each day passed. I mean, who won't? If things just don't go the way it should be for three whole days.

Feeling curious and not in the right state of mind, I slowly glide the blade through my wrist. Feeling the sharp cold metal meeting my pale skin make me feel something. What is it though? Scared? Relieved? I don't know what I'm feeling but I wanna feel it again.

Again, I drag it slowly across my wrist not hard enough to hurt it but enough for me to feel the sharper part. The same feeling come rushing out again. Is it relieved? Or is it pain?

I stare at the blade in my hand while wondering what feeling I just felt. As I wanna make sure about it, I move my hand to the same action like how I did just now before someone hit my hand hard enough to make me let go the small blade and let it flow with the river to no one know where.

Chan:*startled* Hey!

I turn myself and meet a girl who is trying to catch her breath. As she looks up at me she sends me a glare. And, honestly speaking, the glare she sends me got me taken back. What is the meaning of those glare I wonder?

Chan:*confused* You are?

She shows me her palm while she let her head hung low probably to try catching her breath that is hitching. Out of curiosity, I waited for her patiently. While waiting, I make sure to catch every detail of her. A small girl with a height till my shoulder, wearing converse shoes, denim jeans, and white tees.

I was taken out of my own world when her hand forcefully grab mine.

Girl:*shout* Are you crazy?!
Chan:*confused* W-what?
Girl:*point* You! What with the blade?! And why you sit here when there are plenty of seats left?!

Too surprised to utter even a single word, I just stare blankly at her. I form the best sentence I could form and force it through my glued lips.

Chan:*tilted his head* I don't know?
Girl:*sigh* Let's just talk it through.
Chan: B-bu-
Girl:*glare* What?!
Chan: N-nothing.
Girl: If you don't have any, I'll treat.

Its my first time meeting this kind of person. She just dragged a stranger she barely known to somewhere? Is she that innocent or does she trust people that easily?! As I don't think fighting back will be a good choice, for now, I let her drag me to ca nearby cafe. At least, she doesn't bring me to some alleys or somewhere else.
