⚡️Caleb's POV⚡️
"Caleb I swear I am going to make your brain explode if you don't stop." (Just realized this is the second time a chapter has opened up with Zoë threatening Caleb. Oh well XD)
I smirked and pulled her black ponytail one last time for a good measure. She flipped around and glared at me, but before she could do anything Roy placed one of his giant hands over her head. "Remember, no frying people's brains, or you'll have to run four miles," he jokingly reminded her. Since that first day, I've gotten to know the four other people that I've been living with in the tower.
Leo was awesome, always up for a joke, never serious, ready for a video game at any time, he was basically my wingman. It might be the fact we're the same age, or it might just be that our personalities are almost the exact same.
Roy was cool too, like a older brother, he didn't care that we were three years younger, but we never really hung out with him much. He would get really bad headaches and have to go lie down. When he was feeling well, we would watch a movie or play a board game when we got the chance.
Meghan was pretty cool, she wasn't annoying or self centered like some girls are. She was just really laid back, and was a great person inside and out. She seemed like the kind of girl I would want to hang out with.
Then there was Zoë, with her dark hair and eyes, which were framed by her long lashes. She sometimes would scrunch her nose when she got frustrated, or agitated, but she was really cute-
Oh my gosh did I just think that. No, she's annoying and rude and a terrible person. I hate her silky black hair and her soft dimples she gets when she smiles. Stay with it Caleb. Stay with it.
"Yeah Zoë. Don't be a rule breaker," I elbowed her. Zoë rolled her eyes and walked to the other end of the room that we were training in, set up like a gym. There were treadmills, and bench presses, and other workout equipment set around the room, where we were spending some time while the adults were having some sort of "important meeting."
I followed the overly annoyed Zoë to were Leo and Meghan we're seeing how much Leo could press. "Come on, Leo, I can press more than that," Meghan stated as Leo struggled under the bar.
"I-c-c-ant! I can't!" Leo puffed out small breathes and gave up. Meghan shook her head and rolled her eyes and looked at Zoë. They started to have one of those weird silent conversations that girls always have, and soon they were both laughing. "What?" Leo asked, face red and swear sparkling on his forehead.
"Oh, nothing," Meghan laughed. Zoë laughed along until the speaker came on.
"Alright guys, you can stop doing what you're doing and come to the room we usually meet in. It'll only take a minute." Steve's voice filled the room.
