(Sorry for the wait!! I've been busy, tennis, homework, saving the world, but here's a nice long chappie. Enjoy :) )
Zoë's POV
The walk to school is the same everyday. Down the street, left on Lakeview Avenue, and straight for ten minutes then I'm at the prison they call school. Another day of boredom, disgusting food, and bookwork. Big whoop right?
I approached the buildings doors and pushed on the door so I could get in. When I walked in, the smell of the disaster the lunch ladies were brewing filled my nose. The stench could be chicken patties, goulash, or beef stew. Who knows?
People filled the halls and footsteps pitter-patterned up the stairs to the second and third floors. I speed walked to the stairs so I could get to the third floor, and half way up, some idiot behind me tripped me and sent me sprawling to the steps. I grabbed the railing before my face kissed the hard steps and my body crashed into the people behind me. Annoying laughter came from behind me. A jerk named Theo Willis threw his head back in laughter, along with his pack of goonies. Theo was about four inches taller than me, bright orange hair, and a hideous unibrow that he never bothered to get rid of. He looks like he crawled out a garbage truck. Everyday he did something to get on my nerves, and he had just pulled the last straw. His voice had been altered by puberty, and the screechy sound filled my poor unfortunate ears.
"How's the view Lee? How bout you mop up the floor with your clothes while your (it sounded liked yer) down there?" Then he started another out burst of laughter while a small crowd stood by and watch.
I hated having him push me around like this. Especially when I could do something about it and make him pay. Grandpa Stan's voice echoed in the back of my head: "Don't you ever use your powers on other people, no matter what."
Well this was going to be an exception to the rule. I got off of the steps only to take three more steps to the top and be pushed back down.
THAT. WAS. IT.
I stood up and moved out of the way do he couldn't kick me again, and I about smacked myself when my hand went to my temple. He started coming at me. FAST. I had to ack quick before my evil plan failed. I looked straight into his ugly face, and went into his head.
Ok you big dope stop moving.
His eyes slowly glazed over, and I was in.
Ok Theo, now your going to push me back to the ground, and wait till I say step two.
He did as I commanded. Then, I locked eyes with a random person standing near Mr. Finches science room. They had no idea what was going on. I told the random kid to go get Mr. Finches and in the kid went. Then I looked back at Theo.
Now kick me in the stomach.
His foot hurled toward me, and just before he hit me, I put up a force field around that little part of me. Mr. Finches saw Theo kick me and then all chaos broke loose. I "let go of Theo's mind" as I call it and acted like his kick really hurt me. Mr. Finches had a fit.
"Young man you dare to push miss Lee and kick her?!? To the office!!"
Theo had no idea what was going on.
"But-but I didn't-"
"THE OFFICE. NOW!!"
Theo shot me a dirty look and Mr. Finches escorted him to the office. I got off the ground with people swarming around me asking if I was ok. Was I ok? I had just sent Theo Willis to the office and probably suspended him for about three days.
