Zoë's POVApparently Coulsen's definition of 'the van with the other agents is not that far behind us' and everybody else's definition were not the same.
We waited.
And waited.
AND FREAKIN WAITED.
My little 'weird bird' statement shook up Fitz like a fire cracker. For about twenty minutes I had received a nonstop lecture about how I shouldn't disrespect the symbol and that sort of thing. I fiddled with my backpack but that didn't stop the lecture. It went something like this:
Fitz: "I can't believe you would call the S.H.I.E.L.D bird weird."
Me: "Well I deeply apologize."
Fitz: "I don't even know how you would dare call it that!"
Me: "I said I'm sorry. Gosh."*in annoyed voice*
This went on and on and on until Simmons was kind enough to break the tension.
"Would you give the girl a break Fitz!!! Mercy you can really get heated over such little things!!" Hearing this Fitz shut his trap and opened up a random book that happened to be lying around.
As we sat in silence while Simmons (who told me her first name was Jemma but preferred to be called by her last name) and I chatted about my powers and stuff, when another S.H.I.E.L.D van pulled up next to ours. I couldn't see through the window that was in the front but it was apparent that Coulsen and someone else were having a conversation. I couldn't hear it all clearly bit they were clearly talking about me.
Talk about awkward.
The other van pulled out of the drive and drove away. Then the van we were sitting in pulled out of the parking lot. Coulsen turned around and looked at me.
"I guess I'm about to meet the famous Dr. Stan Lee. The yellow three story right?"
I nodded. Time to tell my grandpa the wonderful news.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When we pulled up in my drive way, the second van was waiting for us. The dark navy blue van sat in the drive like it was saying hello to the world. Three people, two men and a woman, stood outside the van. They all were wearing sunglasses, which was normal I guess, it's late May, but that was the only normal thing about them. Now, I'm not stupid, and I know my heros.
So when freakin BLACK WIDOW AND HAWKEYE ARE STANDING IN MY DRIVEWAY I MIGHT FLIP OUT A LITTLE.
Then there was this guy in a long black coat but he wasn't HAWKEYE OR BLACK WIDOW.
I began shaking my hands and sucking in air. I hear light laughing and chuckles coming from Coulsen, Fitz and Simmons. I turned around.
"Is-is that-?"
Coulsen nodded and I looked back to see the guy in the black looking at me funny. Well, I was kind of was fangirling but two of the Avengers were at my house. You can say I was a little over exited. The guy in the black was walking towards us, and I didn't know who he was, but he must play an important role. When the guy in the black came Black Widow and Hawkeye (I'm calling them that until she learns their names) followed them.
I am standing in the presence of awesome people. If I could I would run in circles like a headless chicken and scream. A shrill noise escaped my lips, and I covered my shrill laughs and jumped a little bit. Now everyone was looking at me.
I was having a really hard time controlling my fangirl emotions.
Black Widow and Hawkeye took off their sunglasses and gave me the once over. Hawkeye whispered something in her ear and she faintly smiled. Then the guy in black crossed his arms.
