I once again don't know how to name the chapter please leave suggestions.

Both Percy and Tim were sitting in the cave again. They were still waiting for the others and while Tim was typing something on the computer, Percy was rolling around with the desk chair.

The only noise was the rapid typing of the keyboard and the occasional soft bang when the girl rolled into something. On a particularly loud bang, there was also swearing in ancient greek to which Tim laughed softly in response.

Percy gave him a look and he hid his laughter behind his hand. He hid it rather badly and the girl couldn't stop herself from smiling too.

After that, there was a rather uncomfortable silence, as neither of them knew what to say. Tim still seemed to be thinking about how Percy had persuaded Dick to let them help, and how Bruce would react.

In his opinion, not at all well. He was also slightly worried why the others weren't back yet but he was pretty sure they were only taking their time.

Percy thought about many things. She too was thinking about where the others were but also many other slightly more unimportant things.

She was wondering how the wheels of the desk chair could be so flawless and also how Tim could keep track of all the programs on his computer.

A question that she thought was very important and she definitely wanted to ask someone about it, Why were the costumes so ridiculous.
With the Robins, she didn't really care after all they had all been children.

But why was bruces a bat? A bat in too-tight pants. Maybe he had had an identical Crysis when making the custom but surely Alfred could have told him how not scary he looked.

Alfred had probably found it funny but why had no one else ever told bruce he looked quite simply ridiculous. He could just change it whenever he would want to it was his decision and he couldn't honestly be stupid enough to still think it looked good. But hey maybe it meant something to him.

After a few more minutes the silence seemed to be too much for Tim, Percy didn't care about the silence at this point she was half nodding off.

"You have to show me how you persuaded Dick, please." Percy looked up just in time to see him turn around in his chair.

"Show you how?" She asked her left eyebrow raised.

"Train with me." it was a sort of half-question half-invitation, though Percy knew very definitely that she would better accept. The boy would either bug her until she did and if she didn't she wasn't sure he couldn't program some sort of microchip that would make her do what he wanted.

Ok her brain suffered a little from lack of sleep but whose brain doesn't? Tim's brain certainly did too, so she and her slightly crazy fantasies were among like-minded people. He was the hacker with microchips, after all, not her.

"I don't know if that's a good idea."

"Why? it's not like you could actually harm me."

Well, that didn't hurt Percy's pride at all.

The truth as to why she wouldn't spar with Tim was pretty simple. She didn't want the others to see her fight now that no one needed her help anymore. It was so no one knew about her fighting skills and they would hopefully just think that she had taken dick by surprise and knocked him over because of that. She wanted to keep as much about herself under wraps as possible.

Luckily for Percy, and perhaps unluckily in some ways, Tim's attempt to persuade her was interrupted by the arrival of a ridiculously dressed and annoyed-looking adult. And behind him three younger trick or treat collectors.

(I wanted to make a joke at this point, but it only works in German and that's why I'm a little sad now. But hey, on with the story).

As Percy looked at him, she wished for the awkward silence to return.

To Percy's amazement, he doesn't even really look at her and goes straight to the boys to talk about what had happened. No one tried to involve Percy in their little ritual and she didn't really care.

She listened for a few minutes, but then she could no longer concentrate on the voices and her mind wandered off. She stared at the wall and thought for a bit about how such a cave had been made and whose idea it had been and then her thoughts became a confusing mess.

While the others were talking, she played in the chair for over half an hour with her feet over the armrest and her head half-bent on the other armrest and the seat cushion and her arms as paddles that turned her, her gaze always on one point, even though she kept turning.

It was almost fascinating how she managed to make such an obviously uncomfortable way of sitting look so comfortable. But that was probably one of Percys specialities fascinating things that others didn't and would maybe never understand.
