Maraming media, at mga tao ang pumunta sa unang hearing para sa kaso ni Heeseung.

Daniel, and Monica's there too. Habang ako ay nasa kabilang panig, silang dalawa ay nasa kanan. Napatingin sa banda ko si Monica saka ako inirapan, magang maga din ang mga niya at halos nakabalot na dahil sa dami ng mga nakapatong sa balikat nito.

"Good morning, I am Judge Kenneth Magluman. And today we will have the first hearing about the case of Mr. Ethan L. De Dios." panimula nito.

"The accused, Mr. Ethan de Dios was charged for raping his friend Monica Laurien under the Republic Act No. 8353 which is Anti-Rape Law. He was said commited the crime at 1am, June 25, 2027 at the property of their grand mother in Quezon City, Philippines." sambit nito.

Sumisikip ang paghinga ko kaya naman hinaplos haplos ni Mom ang likuran ko nang magsimulang tumulo ang mga luha sa aking mga mata.

"Under the Republic Act No. 8353, if th accused were found guilty, he will sentence reclusion perpetua to death." Sambit ng Judge.

Mas lalo akong naiyak nang marinig na reclusion perpetua to death ang hatol saka iya kung sakaling ginawa niya iyon, but I keep on being positive. He will never do such thing.

"Today the prosecution side represented by Attorney Luis Vergara, while from the defense counsel side represented by Attorney Justin De Dios. "

Naunang tumayo ang kuya ni Ethan saka inayos ang blazer nito, "We have a matter lined up for the rape case." aniya.

"Yes go ahead. Present your case." sambit ng Judge.

Huminga itong malalim saka tumagilid ng kaunti, "My client has been accused of raping his friend, Monica Laurien. But he has been wrongly accused. He is innocent." matapang niyang sabi.

"Well that I will decide that. To arrive at an impartial judgment, I need to hear facts of the case from both the parties." diretsong sabi ng Judge.

Tumango ang Judge, "For that, you need to submit a written request to me and to the opponent's lawyer. After receiving the approval from the prosecutor, I will be decide upon the next date of hearing." aniya

Attorney Justin licked his lower lip secretly, "There are children and pregnant woman in the said event, how can they be so careless about drink liquors when there are young people and VIPs there?"

"It's one in the morning, and I hope that those children and the pregnant woman fell asleep because it's bad for their health to stay up all night."

Napahinga ako ng malalim, she has a point. What if natutulog na talaga sila? But according to Heeseung, it was just a pear juice.

"It is very well said, Atty. Vergara. But have you known how many people does the event have?" tanong niya.

Napatingin ang lahat kay Attorney Justin, "I guess you only knew about the children and the pregnant woman. But you're wrong, as where the event occured it was in Ethan de Dios gradmother's place. So expect there are a lot of people in there not just the children and the pregnant woman." aniya.

Natahimik ang lawyer nina Monica, nguni't agad nama itong nakabawi. "How can you prove that there are other people in there and not just the children and the pregnant woman? Is there any evidence that proves you're not lying just to cover up your brother's case?"

" Order! Order! Both the lawyers settle down and maintain the decorum of court. I would hear arguments from both the sides in next hearing with the witnesses and powerful evidence." aniya. Huminga ng malalim si Attornet Justin bago umupo, namamawis siyang malamig. I know he's very nervous about the hearing because of his brother but he still fought for the right of Ethan for being falsely accused.

"By that time court is adjourned." sambit ng Judge saka ipinukpok na ang kaniyang malyete, simbolong natapos na ang unang hearing patungkol sa kaso ni Heeseung.
