ZYLAN'S POV
"Hey, Master! You're wasting your food. Aren't you gonna eat that?" Kent pointed at the pizza slice on my plate. I pushed it towards him and let him ate it.
"What's wrong? You've been quiet." Ace said as she took another bite of her pizza slice. "You didn't even touch your food."
"Yeah, we ordered the your favorite pizza but you didn't eat." That was Drake.
"I already took three slices and I haven't seen you taking even a small bite." Winter commented when her mouth was full.
"It's nothing." I said.
"It's a lover's quarrel." Kent commented.
I glared at him.
He really was such a loud mouth to the point I wanted to stitch his mouth to shut him up.
"It's only a guess, Master. Don't take it seriously." Kent smiled. Like I didn't know he was messing around. I wasn't in the mood to deal with his shit.
It had been two days and Sydney still hadn’t talk to me. I could tell how mad she was. Though it was my fault. I knew she was only concern about me. I knew that. But I didn’t like the idea of leaving my gang on their own. They understood me and I wanted to do the same for them. Even though they acted like children and sometime loosened their screws, I knew we looked out for each other. They had my back and so did I.
“It’s just a small quarrel with my girlfriend.” I quietly said. I wasn’t used to telling them my problems. They had their own and I didn’t need to add onto it.
“Well, I think you knew what to do. You two knew each other well.” Ace said.
Yeah, I knew. But I also knew how hard to talk to Sydney when she was like this. It could be challenging. Back then, she’d ignored me for a week because of an argument. I almost lost my temper. I spent the whole day outside of the school. I had to or I’d hit something.
“It’s not that important. It’s small thing.” I didn’t want to talk about it. It was about Sydney and I.
We got back to the class. I saw Sydney sitting to another row far from the usual seat she had. I just took the seat at the back and my gang mates did the same. I looked at Sydney and and she wasn’t even trying to look at me. The class began. I didn’t listen and just wrote whatever shit the teacher wrote on the board. I just needed to distract myself.
The teacher reminded us of the paper work before dismissing the class. I stood up quickly to approach Sydney but she left the classroom. I bit my inner cheek. I was starting to be annoyed now and I knew myself well when it came to my temper.
“You guys eat here.” I stood from my chair.
“I’m going out.” I said to Ace. I grabbed my bag and marched out of the classroom. Damn it, I’d just go home now.
SYDNEY’S POV
From: Zylan
I’m eating lunch. Where are you?
I read the message and exited the message app. I didn’t reply to Z’s message and put down my phone. I was in the meeting room. I was organizing my notes when I received the message.
I admitted it. This was childish but I couldn’t really let my annoyance go. I was only worried about her. We weren’t the same situation. We had a daughter now and Zylan shouldn’t go home with bruises or patches on her face. What would Lynx think?
After that message, I didn’t get another one from Zylan. The rest of the day, I waited for her next message but nothing. I didn’t see her in the remaining classes for today. I saw her gang mates but I didn’t ask them about Z. She probably cut classes again. Like the old times.
