SYDNEY'S POV

"Faster Dada! Faster!"

It's Saturday and we wanted to have a family bonding and suggested to go to a mall where there's a playhouse. And my daughter and her father are playing around. Zylan pushing the small cart where Lynx is sitting and pushing her to run around.

I'm holding my phone and taking pictures of them. Watching them playing around makes me realized and feel contented. Like this is what I really wanted from the start.

I was supposed to be in school because we're having a meeting about improvements of the school. I wanted to go but the thought of missing Lynx and Zylan made me cancelled. Besides, the members of the Student Council were very tired after all of schoolworks we did. So it's only fair.

Also, I want to be close to my daughter. I want her to get used to my presence and starts calling me her mom.

"Hey you two, slow down!" I reminded and stood up. I walked up to them and starts wiping Lynx's sweat. She's panting and coughing a little.

"You two should take a break for a while. Both of you are covered in sweat already." I said as I give Zylan a face towel to wipe off her own sweat. She's also trying her breath. I shook my head.

"What?" She gave a look.

"Nothing. Take a rest for a while, your--"

"Our." She corrected.

"OUR daughter is already breathing and covered in sweat just like you." I repeated, emphasizing the word.

"Yeah. I'm kinda tired." She agreed.

I look at Lynx who is still sitting on the cart and running around. She's not feeling any tiredness. Just like her Dada.

"Where is she getting her energy?" I asked out of sudden.

"Let her. This is the first time she went out of the house." Zylan answered. I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. She just shrugged her shoulders.

"You mean she had never experience this kind of things before?"

"Yep. I didn't have time to take her out because I was so focus in studying to give her a better life." She said and stared at our daughter. I caressed her arm to comfort her because I can see the sadness in her eyes.

"That's in the past now Z. Let's forget those bad memories we had and start new life." I smiled.

After an hour, we decided to eat lunch at a restaurant. At first, I refused because it's too expensive and it's only the three of us who will eat. I'm not a heavy eater too.

But Zylan, being a persistent one, really insisted to eat here so I agreed. And now, we're waiting for our food to arrive and I'm currently using facebook to see newsfeeds.

"Lynx, sit down."

After twenty minutes, our food arrived and we started to eat. I brought a piece of chicken to Lynx and she opened her mouth and eats it.

"You're very hungry right now." Zylan chuckled as she continue eating her food. I'm starting to think that if I didn't left them, thing would've been better than right now.

After eating, Zylan suggested to walk around the mall before going home. We walked and passes by stores and it's alright for me but when she said to go inside a Toy Store, I really want to scold her right now.

"It's too much already Z!" I tried to stop her but this girl won't listen to me.

"Come on, we'd never got a chance to go out before. This is the first time and I want to make it up for Lynx." Her persistent side is showing off.
