Tohru's Little Sister

Chapter 12

Tokiko woke up and was met face to face with Momiji. She adjusted her eyes and shrieked. She said, "Oh my fucking God! Momiji! Don't you ever do that shit ever again! I was already having a bad dream." Momiji sat down and said, "Oouu, about what? You must tell me!" Tokiko started to blush and said, "It was about y-you actually. I had a dream that you got hit by a car...and you left me in this cruel cruel world...you'd leave me just like my daddy and my momma did." Momiji grabbed Tokiko's hand and said, "I promise I'll never leave you To-Chan..." Tokiko snatched her hand away and said, "You're being really weird Momiji, anyway let's go." Momiji said, "Are you ready to face Tohru?" Tokiko gulped and said, "I have to face this head on, just like Kyo onii-Chan said. I wonder what Tohru is doing right now". Tohru was laying in bed with dried tears on her face. She couldn't sleep thinking about Tokiko. The words Tohru told Tokiko, was replaying in her head. Tohru heard someone knock at the door and she perked up. She ran to it expecting Tokiko, but it was Yuki. He said, "Tohru, did you get any sleep last night? You do know you have to work today...it's not good for you." Tohru's mood immediately went back down and she said, "I called off and told them I was sick. I just want my little sister to come back home. I need to apologize for what I said. Even though we both said some pretty nasty things...what I said was far worse."
Yuki said, "Your sister is with Momiji. I called Hatori this morning to confirm it. She ran all the way to the Sohma Estate and Hatori took her to Momiji." Tohru said, "Who's Hatori?" Yuki said, "He's also a Sohma and apart of the zodiac family. He lives near Momiji, so naturally he took Tokiko to him." Tohru walked back over to her bed and grabbed Tokiko's pillow. It was shaped like a flower and it was yellow and pink. Tohru said, "I remember when Daddy first got her this pillow. She fell in love with it instantly..." Yuki sat down next to Tohru and said, "Where's your pillow?" Tohru said, "Daddy never gave me a special pillow...he always got gifts for Tokiko...but never me." Yuki said, "Do you have an idea of why you never got any gifts from him?" Tohru said, "I have no idea and he died before I ever got the chance to ask him so I guess I'll never know." Tohru laid back down and cuddled Tokiko's pillow. Yuki patted her on the shoulder and walked out the room. Momiji said, "Tokiko let's go somewhere before we go to Shigure's house." Tokiko was brushing her hair and said, "Like where Bunny Boy?" Momiji said, "There's this Waffle House near the Estate if you'd like to go."
Tokiko's heart stopped a little and then she said, "Sure I'd love to." Momiji said, "Ok great! But, first let's get you into some new clothes. I'm sure Ritsu is around here somewhere. He'll have some clothes for you." Tokiko said, "Why would a guy have girl clothes?" Momiji giggled and said, "You'll see...let's go find Ritsu." Momiji walked with Tokiko all around the Estate before he stopped in-front of a house that was slightly bigger than his. He knocked and said, "Heyo, Ritsu. Open up!" The door opened quietly and out poked the head of a girl. Tokiko said, "Momiji you lied! This ain't no dude! This is obviously a girl..." Ritsu rolled his eyes and said, "Come in you two." They stepped inside and on the walls were pictures of Ritsu, some dressed as a girl and others dressed as a boy. Tokiko said, "Ok, I'm officially confused...are you a boy or a girl?" Ritsu said, "I'm a boy who just likes fabulous things!" Tokiko sweat dropped and said, "Sure you do...Momiji said you have some clothes that I can wear for today". Ritsu said, "Of course I do!" He grabbed Tokiko's hand and drug her down the hallway. He shoved her into a huge closet and turned on the light. There was shelves upon shelves full of clothes. Ritsu said, "Can we have a fashion show while you're here? By the way, what's your name?"
Tokiko said, "I don't think so. The names Tokiko..." Ritsu said, "How lovely my sisters name is Tokima!" Tokiko rolled her eyes. Momiji said, "Can we do this kind of fast Ritsu? Akito is supposed to be out of his room today...and I want Tokiko and I to be gone before then." Ritsu nodded his head and said, "I completely understand." He grabbed 3 dresses from the rank and threw them on the table. He said, "Try these 3 on!" Tokiko grabbed them and said, "Where's the dressing room?" Ritsu said, "There's isn't one..." Tokiko said, "Ok...where's the bathroom?" Ritsu said, "There isn't one of those either in here..." Tokiko said, "Then how the hell do you expect me to try it on...if you and Bunny Boy are here watching?!" Ritsu started laughing and said, "Ok we'll step out." They walked out the room and Tokiko tried on the light pink dress. It was very short and it exposed the top part of her chest. Tokiko looked in the mirror and said, "Um...way too inappropriate for my age." She took that dress off and tried this long blue dress. It was almost like a mermaid dress. Tokiko went to look in the mirror and said, "Ehhh...I look like I'm going to prom." She tried on the final dress and it was a bright orange almost similar to the color of her hair. She pulled it on and it was just above her knee and it had light yellow glitter all over it. Tokiko looked in the mirror and said, "We have a winner!"
She grabbed her ribbons from her yellow dress and tied her hair into 2 ponytails. She said into the mirror, "You always loved this hairstyle on me...right momma?" She knocked on the door and said, "You bozo's can come in now." Ritsu walked in and his jaw dropped. He said, "You look absolutely gorgeous in this dress Tokiko! I'll let you keep it cause you look better in it than I do!" Tokiko said, "Oh my goodness, thank you so much!" Momiji said, "To-Chan, you look so beautiful in orange. It's almost the same color as your hair and it brings out your skin complexion." Tokiko started blushing and said, "T-thank you Momiji." Ritsu ran towards Tokiko and said, "Let me give you a hug!" Momiji bucked his eyes and said, "Ritsu don't!" Just then an orange cloud of smoke appeared and Ritsu disappeared. Tokiko said, "Don't tell me you're apart of the zodiac too..." What was left of Ritsu was a monkey. Tokiko said, "He's so adorable! I've always wanted a pet monkey!" The monkey ran up Tokiko's leg and gave her a hug. Momiji grabbed the monkey by it's tail and said, "Hey! No touching or hugging Tokiko, without my permission Ritsu!" Tokiko started to laugh.
The monkey stuck its tongue out at Momiji. His face got hot and he grabbed the clothes and the monkey and threw it out the door. Tokiko said, "Woah chill Blondie...it's not that big of a deal." Momiji said, "Yes it is! I don't want anyone touching you or harming you Tokiko ever..." Tokiko blushed and looked at the ground. Ritsu transformed back into human and walked back into the room. He said, "Not cool Momiji..but have fun today!" Just then, Ritsu got a knock at the door. He yelled, "Who is it?!" The voice said, "It's Akito...open the door right now.." Momiji panicked and said, "Oh no he's making his rounds early! To-Chan we have to get out of here!" Ritsu whispered, "Go out the back door..." Tokiko grabbed her clothes and followed Momiji to the back entrance. Ritsu opened the door and said, "Ah, Akito Sama, how are you doing today?" Akito glared at Ritsu and said, "I'm fine...have you seen Momiji? I went to his house and he wasn't there." Ritsu said, "I haven't seen him, he must've left early today again." Akito placed a hand under his chin. He said, "I wonder where my little rabbit is running off to all the time. He leaves everyday, I rarely get to see him." Ritsu gulped and laughed awkwardly.
Akito sighed and said, "Well see you later and plus Ritsu, you're a terrible liar..." Akito walked away and Ritsu let a breath go he didn't know he was holding. Momiji and Tokiko ran far away from the Sohma Estate. They were both hot and out of breath. Tokiko said, "Why did we have to keep running once the Estate was out of sight?" Momiji said, "Just for good luck. Let's go to the Waffle House now." They walked into the Waffle House. All the memories from Tokiko's childhood came flooding in. Momiji said, "Have you been here before?" Tokiko said, "Yes, I've been here with my family...when it was an actual family." Momiji said, "What was your favorite thing to order here?" Tokiko said, "I loved French toast with raspberries and raspberry syrup on top of it." Momiji said, "It sounds delicious!" They sat down and Tokiko and Momiji both ordered the French toast. Momiji said, "It tastes better than it looks!" Tokiko said, "I know right! I love it so much! My dad could never understand why I loved it so much. He would never try it..." Momiji stole a raspberry off Tokiko's toast. They were wrestling for it. Tokiko started giggling and said, "I can't believe you stole that from me!" Momiji said, "I couldn't contain myself".
Tokiko was drinking her water and Momiji stopped eating to watch her. Tokiko said, "Why are you staring at me?" Momiji said, "You're just so gorgeous to not look at..." Tokiko started blushing really hard. Momiji said, "Let's go to Shigure's house, now that you feel better." They walked hand in hand to Shigure's house. Kyo was outside working out when Momiji and Tokiko walked up. Kyo said, "Whatt?! You two holding hands now? Wow!" Tokiko snatched her hand away and said, "Ewwww Kyo onii-Chan that's not what was happening!" Kyo laughed and said, "Whatever you say Mini Me!" She ran into the house and Momiji stood watching her. Kyo said, "Blondie...you're changing her.." Momiji said, "I know, but I'm sure it's what's for the best...I really do care about her though." Kyo nodded his head and walked into the house. He said, "Come back tomorrow Momiji...spend as much time as you can with her...please." Momiji smiled and ran off. He walked silently back to the Sohma Estate. He walked up to his door and Akito was leaning against the door frame. He said, "Akito! What's bring you here?" Akito walked towards Momiji and stood over him. He said, "You smell like a girl....have you been with Kisa today or something?" Momiji said, "Yes! Her, Haru, Hiro and I have all been playing together!" Akito jacked Momiji up and said, "Liar...I just left from Haru's house and he said Kisa is with her dad today...Whoever you're spending time with...Stop cause you belong to me." Momiji snatched away from Akito and said, "I can't! She's my friend and I care a lot about her." Akito punched Momiji in the face and said, "Don't disobey me Rabbit, everyone else might adore you, but you're no good than anyone else here....You're mines and you will act as such! You are not to leave the Estate for the next 2 days." Momiji started to cry and said, "But, I have school tomorrow...Akito you can't do this." Akito slapped him and said, "When will you learn Momiji...you can't win against me...I'll have Hatori call your school and make something up...now go to your room...you lonely little rabbit.."
