Tohru's Little Sister

Chapter 9

  Yuki took Momiji and his clothes out of the room. He placed the bunny in the bathroom and closed the door waiting for him to change back into human. Tokiko said, "Blondie is seriously messed up in the head. We were having a good conversation before he did that!" Tohru said, "Oh yea, what you were talking about?" Tokiko said, "None of your business, airhead..." She got up and walked downstairs. She went into the living room. Soon, Tohru, Momiji, Kyo and Yuki walked downstairs. Tokiko spotted Momiji and turned her head away from him. He sat down next to Tokiko and said, "I'm so sorry To-Chan! I should've asked like you said. Please don't be mad at me, I beg you!" Tokiko rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever..." Momiji clapped his hands together and said, "I'm glad! Let's eat. Tohru are the dumplings ready?" Tohru walked from the kitchen with a tray full of dumplings. She said, "I made 25 for us 5 and the rest in the kitchen are for Mr. Shigure whenever he comes back." Kyo said, "That sneaky dog is always running off to somewhere." Yuki said, "Sneaky indeed."
      Each of them enjoyed their dumplings and went their respective ways. Momiji, Kyo and Tokiko were still sitting in the living room watching tv. Yuki had went upstairs to his room. Tohru had walked outside to hang the laundry. Tohru turned the corner with a basket full of clothes to see a baby tiger hiding on the side of Shigure's house. Tohru sat the basket down gently and walked towards the tiger. Every step Tohru took, the tiger inched back. Tohru crouched down and petted the tiger on the head. Tohru said, "You're so cute! I was wonder where you came-" Right before she could finish her sentence, the tiger bit her hand. Tohru yelped and Tokiko ran outside. She said, "Tohru, what's wrong?!" Tohru said, "This baby tiger bit my hand!" Tokiko stood in-front of the tiger and said, "Hey you dumb animal! Don't bite Tohru, she's already an idiot!"Tohru started to cry and said, "What if I have rabies?!" Tokiko face-palmed herself and said, "It's not a dog!" The tiger was about to run away when Haru suddenly scooped it up. Tohru said, "Haru? What are you doing here?" Haru said, "I was looking for Kisa, she ran away from home and I figured this was the only place she could run to."
     Tokiko said, "Kisa? Is she like your pet or something?" Haru was playing with the tigers tail when it bit him. Haru said, "No, Kisa is apart of the Sohma family. As you can see, she is the tiger zodiac." Tohru said, "Oh ok. She's so cute! I wonder what she's gonna look like when she transforms." Then in a flash of smoke, the tiger transformed into a much younger girl. Haru covered his eyes and handed Kisa to Tohru. He said, "I think her clothes are in the house somewhere. Get her inside and dressed." Tohru said, "Understood." The girl stumbled into the house with Tohru. Tokiko said, "What's wrong with her? Why is she biting people and why did she run away?" Haru said, "Kisa is a very shy girl. She's being bullied at her school and she chooses to not deal with it. She often transforms a lot." Tokiko nodded her head and walked into the house with Haru. Kyo stood up and said, "Haru? What are you doing here?" Haru said, "I figured Kisa came here after running away from home and I stand corrected. Tohru is helping her get dressed." Momiji said, "Kisa is here too?"
    Haru said, "Yup!" Tohru was helping Kisa put on her dress when Tohru said, "Hello Kisa, what brought you to Mr. Shigure's house?" Kisa stayed silent. Tohru said, "Would you like to know my name?" Kisa looked Tohru in the eye and glanced back at the floor. Tohru said, "I'll tell you my name if you can tell me your name." Kisa opened her mouth slightly and said, "M-my name is K-Kisa Sohma." Tohru said in her head, "Her voice is so soft and adorable!" Tohru said, "Hi, Kisa Sohma. My name is Tohru Honda and that other girl you met is my sister and her name is Tokiko Honda." Kisa smiled and looked at Tohru. Tohru smiled back and walked Kisa downstairs. Momiji ran up to Kisa and said, "Hello Kisa! I haven't seen you in awhile how are you?" Before she opened her mouth to speak, she seen Kyo and hid behind Tohru. Tohru said, "Why are you hiding Kisa?" Momiji whispered in Tohru's ear, "She's afraid of Kyo because of his personality." Tohru nodded her head.
       Yuki came downstairs and seen Haru and Kisa. He said, "Good evening, nice to see you Kisa." She nodded her head in his direction. He turned his attention to Tohru, "Tohru, remember when you asked me about getting a job? Momiji's father owns an office building not too far from here. I'm sure he can get you a job there." Tohru perked up and looked at Momiji. She said, "Do you think I'd be able to get the job Momiji?" Momiji grabbed Tohru's hand and said, "Of course! You have the right kind of attitude for the job! I'll take you there now!" Tohru looked down at Kisa who was still clinging to her dress. Tohru said, "Can Kisa come with us?" Momiji said, "Sure! Haru, you can come too!" Haru said, "Alright." The 4 walked out the house and on the path to Momiji's dad office building. Tokiko watched them walk out and said, "That girl is really strange.....Haru told me that she was being bullied at her school. Who lets themselves get bullied? Idiot!" Kyo said, "Mini Me, Kisa is different from you. Every person is different from each other. Kisa can't deal with certain situations like you can. She isn't exactly what you'd call "tough". There will come a time where you will understand that."
     Tokiko said, "Alright Kyo onii-chan, I get it." The two sat in front of the tv for another 5 minutes before someone burst through the door. The voice said, "Where is Kisa?! She wasn't at home and I went to Haru's place and neither of them were there!" Kyo walked around the corner to see a short boy with brown hair. Kyo said, "Oh, it's you Hiro....They just left with Momiji and Tohru to see his dads building." Hiro said, "Whose Tohru?" Tokiko walked around the corner and said, "That would be my airhead of a sister." Hiro said, "And who the hell are you?" Tokiko said, "Don't talk to me like that! I'll slap you." Hiro laughed and said, "Do it! You weak girl!" Tokiko and Hiro started hitting each other. Hiro slipped on his shoe lace and fell into Tokiko's chest. Tokiko shrieked and pushed Hiro off of her. A cloud of brown smoke appeared and out came a little sheep. Tokiko said, "Aww look at how adorable that snotty nose brat is." Kyo said, "Yea, he's the sheep zodiac Mini Me." Hiro grabbed his clothes with his mouth and dragged them around the corner and he transformed back into a boy. He walked around the corner and fixed his collar. Tokiko said, "Way to be a clumsy brat HiRo." He said, "Ignore what just happened. But anyway answer my question. Kyo said, "Hiro, this is Tokiko."
       Hiro said, "Ughh, I don't really care who she is. All I want to know is why Kisa left with them." Kyo said, "Obviously because she wanted to go, do you think they'd take her against her will!" Hiro said, "Maybe, you are people are animals." Tokiko said, "Hold on, aren't you a Sohma? And you're apart of the zodiac, so doesn't that make you an animal too? And you're "beloved KiSa" is an animal too big brain." Hiro gasped and said, "How did you know I was a Sohma?" Tokiko said, "I don't know, maybe because you just transformed into a sheep after touching me, but why are you looking for Kisa? Are you her boyfriend?" Hiro started to blush and said, "Of course not! I'm just her really good friend. I wanted to see her that's all." Tokiko said, "So, you walked for God's knows how long all the way to the Pervert's house just to find Kisa, all because you wanted to see her?" Kyo said, "Yea I call bullshit man." Hiro said, "Kyo, you're family! You're supposed to be on my side." Kyo said, "I'm only family when you're right and right now you're wrong." Hiro rolled his eyes and said, "I might as well stay here until those people get back here with Kisa." About 20 minutes later, Momiji busted the door open and said, "We're back!" Hiro jumped up and said, "It took you long enough! I've been waiting forever here with these idiots!" Tokiko said, "And who are you calling an idiot?" Momiji said, "Oh, hello Hiro! You must be here to see Kisa! Well, her and Tohru went out for ice cream since Tohru got the job!"
     Hiro said, "How dare that ToHrU take Kisa out for ice cream? That's no fair!" Tokiko said to herself, "They went out for ice cream? She didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to come." Haru said, "Just calm down Hiro, I'm sure they'll be back in the next 20-30 minutes. Until then, stay and watch some tv or something." Hiro sat down on the far end of the room away from everyone else. Momiji sat back down beside Tokiko. Haru had lounged against the wall with Kyo as they all watched tv. It started to get dark when Tohru and Kisa walked back into the house. Hiro said, "Finally! I got tired of waiting for you to get here." Kisa had a hand full of bags. Kyo said, "Did you guys go shopping after ice cream?" Tohru giggled and said, "Yes we did! Kisa said she loved my hair accessories and I took her to the shop to get some of her own, and I got her some new clothes and fun toys." Kisa said, "H-hiro I had so much fun with Tohru Onee-San."
     Hiro said, "Tohru Onee-San? You just met her today and you're already calling her big sister?" Kisa said, "Onee-San is a lot of fun and we got to t-talk a lot. Thank you for worrying about me Hiro." He blushed and said, "It was no big deal, I just wanted to see you that's all." Kisa closed her eyes and smiled at Hiro. His blush intensified. He grabbed her hand and said, "Let's go back home. Haru! Momiji! Let's go!" Tohru said, "You all must live at the Sohma Estate?" Haru said, "That's right and it's just before night fall. We should get going." Tohru grabbed Kisa's hand and said, "After I get off work tomorrow, come back here and we can go out to eat together. Just the two of us! How does that sound?" Kisa looked up at Tohru and said, "That sounds great Onee-San. I'm looking forward to it." Kisa ran off to catch up with Hiro. Tohru closed the door behind them. Tohru said, "By the way, what zodiac is Hiro?"
     Kyo and Tokiko laughed. Kyo said, "You missed his transformation, but he is the sheep zodiac." Tohru, "Dog, Rat, Cat, Rabbit, Cow, Tiger and Sheep. I have to meet 5 more of the Sohmas and the zodiac family will have been complete. I wonder what the others are like?" Tokiko said, "Don't dig too deep into the future, but why didn't you invite me for ice cream with Kisa?" Tohru said, "I'm sorry To-Chan, I didn't think you'd want to come because you don't know Kisa and you didn't offer to come to the building with us. No hard feelings Tokiko." Tohru patted Tokiko on the head and went upstairs. Tokiko said to herself, "And she still didn't invite me out to eat with her and Kisa....maybe she doesn't want me around when she's with Kisa..." Tokiko went upstairs and into the bathroom. She sat on the toilet staring in the mirror thinking to herself. She stood up from the toilet maybe 10 minutes later and walked into her room. She was gonna tell Tohru what was bothering her. But Tohru was already fast asleep. Tokiko rolled her eyes and went downstairs to wash the dishes.
    Kyo walked into the kitchen and said, "You doing chores? Something has to be wrong..." Tokiko said, "I just have a few things on my mind that's all...Don't worry Kyo onii-Chan I'm ok." Kyo patted Tokiko on the head and said, "Ok then just remember I'm always here to talk, ok?" Tokiko smiled at Kyo and he walked away. After he walked away, Tokiko's smile went away. She washed the dishes and grabbed a blanket from the closet and slept on the floor in the living room. It was already dark outside and Shigure was just now getting home. He looked at the floor to see Tokiko sleeping. He stared at her and said, "Maybe her and Tohru had a fight, well I mustn't wake her." Shigure stepped over Tokiko and slid into his room and fell asleep. Yuki went to Tohru's room and opened the door slightly. Ever since, the girls got back from their grandpas house, Yuki has been checking on them while they slept. Only tonight, he discovered that Tokiko was not in the bed with Tohru. He walked downstairs to see her rolled into a little ball sleeping on a blanket. Yuki walked over to her and kissed her forehead. He said, "Goodnight Tokiko." He was starting to really look at Tokiko like a little sister. He really wanted to protect her and 
Tohru by any means. He walked back upstairs and into his room and fell asleep.
