Momiji started twirling his fingers and said, "Well....Tokiko is a very bold and bright girl. She's very sweet when she wants to be. She's very intelligent and her smile...oh my golly her smile...it would easily make your day. And when she smiles, oh my god she has this little vampire tooth next to her top left front tooth and when she smiles, it shows. I can't help, but stare at it. And her hair?! It's just like yours Kyo, so bright and different. It truly does make her who she is. She's so graceful and understanding. I haven't told her my story, but I do plan on doing that soon. I want her to know exactly why I am who I am. I don't want pity from her, I just want to be by her side. Always....nothing she does will ever disappoint me...ever..." Kyo turned his head to face Momiji. He slapped Momiji. Momiji jumped up and said, "What was that for?!" Kyo said, "Why was that so easy for you to tell me...but you can't tell that to her?! She literally loves you Momiji, you telling her that will make her realize how she feels." Momiji said, "Well if I tell To-Chan how I feel, you have to tell Tohru how you feel." Kyo eyes widen. He smirked and said, "You have a deal bunny boy..." Tohru was in the kitchen finishing the sweet rice. She started to set the table. She finished and said, "Time for supper guys!" Her smile soon turned to a frown. She made 5 plates of food when there are only 2 people eating. She started to sniffle as she cleared the 3 plates. Tokiko walked down the stairs and stopped in her tracks. She seen Tohru clearing the plates from the table. Tokiko face palmed herself and said, "Did you make a plate for them?" Tohru looked up and laughed through her tears. Tokiko giggled and helped her clear the plates. She grabbed Tohru's hand and said, "They are here in spirit..." Tohru gave her a closed-eye smile.
They quickly cleared the plates and sat down to eat. Tohru prayed over the food and they ate in silence. Tohru said through bites, "I'm so used to you and Kyo nudging each other at the table." Tokiko laughed and said, "I'm so used to you and Kyo onii-Chan making eye contact and soon blushing after." Tohru choked on her juice. She said, "What are you talking about?" Tokiko said, "Come on, Tohru....I know you like Kyo onii-Chan." Tohru's face turned a bright red. She said, "That's not true To-Chan. You're making up lies!" Tokiko said, "Ok, if that's true then why when you wake up in the middle of the night, you go in his room to check on him. And why do you two sit on the roof and watch the stars? And why do always make his plate first? Whatever food you cook, you make sure that you never use celery cause you know he doesn't like it....it's the small details Tohru."
Tohru cleared her throat and said, "Ok ok ok, maybe I do like...Kyo kun a little bit. But just a little." Tokiko rolled her eyes. Tohru said, "But you're the one to talk, we're not gonna talk about that "day" you spent with Momiji....and that picture? I seen it." Tokiko dropped her fork. She said, "Where did you see it?! Did he show you?! I'm gonna kill him!" Tohru giggled and said, "No, its his Lock Screen on his phone. It lit up one day while I was next to him and I seen it. You looked so happy To-Chan...why is it so hard for you to admit." Tokiko scoffed and said, "Admit what Tohru?! I don't get what you're trying to say." Tohru said, "You're so quick to call me out on liking Kyo, but you can't deal with the emotions you have for Momiji." Tokiko said, "There are no emotions!!" Tohru said, "Why do you bright up every time he's around? Why do you giggle and do cute stuff when he talks to you? You act so harsh to him, but deep down, you know you love him." Tokiko said, "Who are you to tell me how I feel?! You don't know anything!" Tohru crossed her arms and said, "Is that so? Then why did you run to the Estate when Momiji didn't come to school and get in touch with you?"
Tokiko's eyes went big. "Why did you basically fight Akito for Momiji? No one does that unless they truly love someone..." said Tohru. Tokiko tucked her hair behind her ear. Her cheeks were a bright red and her eyes were puffy. She said, "Tohru why do you insist on forcing me to deal with things, that aren't broken? You always want me to face reality...but why? My friendship with that idiot rabbit is incredible the way it is...plus I'm afraid." Tohru said, "Afraid of what To-Chan? Rejection?" Tokiko said trying to fight back her tears, "No...I'm afraid that if I tell him the truth....he'll leave me.." Tohru said, "He won't Tokiko." Tokiko said, "He will! Daddy left...and I loved him so much...more than mom, more than you...more than myself. Mom left....the one who took care of us after Daddy left. And soon Tohru...you'll leave. Next year, you'll be a senior and you'll no longer be here with me. You're gonna get married and have kids and leave me behind.." Tohru put down her cup and said, "Just because I graduate high school does not mean I will leave you ever."
She walked over to Tokiko and cupped her face in her hands. She forced Tokiko to look into her eyes. Tohru rubbed her thumb over Tokiko's cheek. Tohru said, "You look just like Dad with mom's hair. Tokiko laughed and said, "You look just like Mom with daddy's hair." A tear fell from Tokiko's eye and Tohru wiped it away. Tohru said, "Don't ever be afraid that I'll leave you behind. We're a pact and we'll always be together." Tohru kissed Tokiko's forehead and hugged her. Tokiko wrapped her arms around Tohru. Tokiko said, "Yea, it'll be so much more fun when you marry Kyo onii-Chan and I move in with you and babysit all your kids." Tohru pinched Tokiko's ear. Tohru said, "But that won't be necessary because you and Momiji's house will be right next to ours. Both of our kids can play together!" Tokiko rolled her eyes and pinched Tohru's shoulder. Both of the girls started to laugh.
