Chapter 30

Tohru and Tokiko were talking while Momiji and Kyo talked about the party. Kyo texted Yuki that they were about to turn the corner towards their house. Yuki said, "Ok everyone, find a hiding spot! They're like 3 minutes away from the house!" Everyone scattered to hide behind something. Yuki quickly turned off the lights and hid behind the couch. Tokiko said, "It feels so good to be able to go home. I feel like we haven't really had the chance to settle in." Tohru said, "I know right! As soon as we moved here, I went to the hospital, then you were in the hospital." Tokiko said, "Yea shits been hitting the fan lately. We deserve a break. How bout in the next week we throw a house warming party?" Tohru walked up to the door and said, "That's a great idea!" She turned to Kyo and Momiji and said, "You guys are welcome to come in if you like." Momiji said, "Of course! Lead the way." Tohru nodded and unlocked the door.
She turned on the lights and everyone jumped out and said, "Surprise!!!!" Both Tohru and Tokiko screamed to the top of their lungs. Tohru said, "Oh my gosh! What are you guys doing here?" Yuki walked up to Tohru and said, "We wanted to throw a party for you guys recovery!" Tokiko said, "How did you guys know that I was gonna wake up today? You some kind of psychic?" Yuki rolled his eyes and said, "No, but we had a feeling today would be a great day!" Tohru turned to Kyo and said, "You knew about this?" Kyo thumped Tohru's head and said, "Of course I did!" Tokiko said, "Screw that, how did you guys get into the house?" Kyo said, "I may or may not have taken your extra key while you weren't looking..." Tokiko punched Kyo in his side and said, "You thief!" Uotani rolled her eyes.
She said, "Never mind that! Just come in and have some fun!" She yanked both Tohru and Tokiko in the house. The girls looked around and seen all the decorations. Tohru started to tear up and said, "You guys really out did yourselves!" Kisa walked up to Tohru and said, "It's so good to see you smiling again oneesan." Tohru gave her a big hug. Tokiko rolled her eyes. Kisa walked over to Tokiko and bowed. Tokiko started to blush and said, "Yo Keesa why are you bowing to me?" Kisa giggled and said, "I really appreciate you for letting me spend time with Tohru. She's amazing and I'm lucky to have met someone like her." Tokiko rolled her eyes and said, "You're welcome...I guess." Rin walked over to Tokiko and stood over her. Tokiko said, "You're the horse right?" Rin nodded her head. Tokiko stared at her and said, "Your head lights are on..." Rin started to blush and covered her chest. Tokiko started to laugh and said, "No hard feelings. Your name is Rin right? Nice to meet you. I love your hair by the way."
Rin eyes started to wide as she said to herself, "The only other person whose ever complimented my hair was Haru." Rin just nodded and walked away. Tokiko said under her breath, "That girl got problems.." Tohru was laughing and talking with Akito. Tokiko thought to herself, "I should go apologize..." She walked over and cleared her throat. Akito got real stiff. Tokiko said, "I wanted to apologize for beating on you. I thought you hurt my sister and I'm sorry." Akito stared at Tokiko and said, "I accept your apology. In a way I did hurt your sister. And you actually....so I consider it even." Tokiko chuckled and smiled. Shigure walked over to Tokiko and placed a hand on her shoulder. He said, "So nice to see you up and walking around Tokiko." Tokiko said, "It's nice to see you too Shigure." Shigure gasped and said, "You finally called me by my name!!! It's a miracle!" Tokiko squinted her eyes and said, "Watch it Perv.." Shigure chuckled and said, "There's the Tokiko I know and love." Tokiko said, "Thank you for being that father figure I needed in that moment." Shigure nodded.
Kyo said, "Let's take a picture everyone!" Everyone bunched together and had Tokiko and Tohru in the middle. Ayame set up the camera and said, "Everyone say fabolousss!" Hatori rolled his eyes and said, "No, everyone say New Beginnings!" Just as the picture was taken, Momiji stole a kiss from Tokiko. The picture snapped and time froze. "I told you they'd be fine in the end Kyoko" said Katsuya. They were standing in the living room while the picture was being taken. Kyoko rolled her eyes and said, "I know I just can't help but worry about my little girls. They don't seem to need us anymore." Katsuya gripped Kyoko's waist and said, "We're their parents...they'll always need us. But at least for right now they have a big family to attend to." Kyoko smiled as one tear fell from her eye. She said, "We'll I guess it's time we leave...I'm gonna miss our little girls." Katsuya said, "The Honda sisters are gonna be ok in the end." They walked towards the door. Kyoko said, "I love you Tohru and Tokiko continue to be strong in this journey called life.." Katsuya opened the door and outside was a bright light. Kyoko walked into the light and Katsuya walked behind her. Before he closed the door he said, "Momiji, Kyo, keep my girls happy. I'm leaving them to you.." He closed the door behind himself.
