{ Song: Crystal Snow - BTS }
☆彡
It was a nice day, Jana admitted. The weather wasn't too cold for her despite it being December. The snow was falling, piling up on top of tree branches that had long bid their leaves farewell. The fog engulfed the top of the buildings as the clouds made it clear that they wouldn't disappear any time soon.
Jungkook, on the other hand, was freezing as he wrapped himself with two blankets and kept his hands warm by holding his mug of hot chocolate. As much as he loved playing in the snow, he wasn't a fan of the cold. They were both seated on Jungkook's bed, enjoying some hot chocolate while watching Iron Man for the twenty-sixth time. The exams and competition were long over and done with; they could finally lie back without worrying about anything for a while.
The obnoxious sound of a ringing phone disturbed their quiet leisure time. Jungkook irritatedly groaned and urged Jana to put her phone on silent. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to pick her phone up from the bedside table and answer the call.
"Get up. Hoseok wants to meet up at the gym."
"If you think I'm leaving my warm bed and hot chocolate to go outside in the blizzard then you're out of your damn mind."
"Stop being dramatic, he says it's important."
She dragged the blanket away from him and placed it by the edge of the bed only for him to complain and whine more.And after fifteen minutes of convincing and pulling at blankets, he finally dragged his feet to his closet. He pulled out his clothes and reached for the bathroom to change while Jana wore her black denim jacket on top of her white hoodie and put on a black beanie with the words "Sunday Mood", adjusting her hair underneath to show her side bangs.
She went downstairs to put on her checkered Vans and waited for Jungkook to get ready. As she was tying her shoelace, she heard a door closing from behind her and some steps coming closer.
"Oh, are you leaving already?" Mrs. Jeon asked while wiping her hands with a towel. She had just left from the kitchen after preparing lunch.
"Hello, auntie. Jungkook and I will just head out for a bit, is that okay?"
Mrs. Jeon seemed taken aback for a minute before clapping her hands together and smiling widely; excitement was glowing on her face.
"Is he finally taking you out!!""What?" Jana furrowed her eyebrows in confusion before realization hit her. She understood what Mrs. Jeon was implying.
"Oh, I was meaning to ask. Why do you and Mr. Jeon assume that we're in a relationship. I don't really like him like that, he doesn't either."
She placed her hand on the back of her neck restlessly as she saw Mrs. Jeon's smile drop.
