Some days later when I woke up and went into the main room, I was pretty surprised to see Fury and the others sitting at the table.
-Morning...is everything alright?- I asked, looking around.
Nat and Wanda immediately got up and came forward.
-Hydra took Barnes this morning.- Fury explained.
-W...what?- I said shocked, looking over the girls' shoulders.
-Yeah, he texted me that he wanted to go on a run with me and talk about something yesterday, but this morning when I arrived at the place of the appointment he wasn't there.- Sam started -Then I saw some people visibly upset, I asked them what was going on and they said that they saw some people taking a man and from the description that man was Bucky. I also tried to call him but nothing.-
I felt my knees weak and I almost fell on the floor from the shock.
-So? What's the plan?- I asked, trying to control my breath and not crying.
-There is a locator in his arm, Jarvis is trying to find it.- Steve said.
-How do you know there is one?- I asked.
-Because I put it in there.- Dad said looking guilty at me.
-Why?- I whispered, fighting very hard to hold back my tears.
-He asked me to. He wanted us to know where to find him. And if the situation is bad we could hide from him.- he sighed.
-What's the plan after you find him?- I asked Fury.
-Romanoff will use a Photostatic Veil, it's a gadget that will change her face, and she is gonna sneak into the Hydra's base.- Fury explained.
-She is gonna go in there alone?- I asked worriedly.
-Yeah, that stuff is pretty expensive and there is only one, for now. And the Hydra men know the Avengers so if any of them would go near the base, they are gonna shoot.- Fury said, looking at me with his only good eye -You finished your question?-
-Yeah...- I nodded -I'm going to eat something.- I said as I left the room.
-Wait for us, y/n.- Wanda said as she and Nat followed me.
I sat at the table while the two girls closed the door.
-Are you okay?- Nat asked, sitting next to me.
-No, I'm not...- I said hugging her, trying not cry -They tortured him once, they surely would do it again...what if Winter Soldier takes the control again?-
-I'm gonna bring him here and he'll be safe, don't worry.- Nat said putting her arm around my shoulders.
-Wait a second...- I stood up and came back to the others, followed by the two confused redhair -Fury, you said that the Hydra men will shoot the Avengers if they see them, right?- I asked.
-Yes, that's what I said.-
-Well, Hydra doesn't know me.- I said looking him straight in the eye.
-Hell no! No. No. You are not going there.- Dad stood up.
-Dad if I can help let me help.- I said looking at him, seriously.
-y/n...- Steve called me -Are you sure about this?-
-Yes.- I nodded.
-y/n y/m/n Stark, you are not going in a fucking Hydra base!- Dad shouted.
-Stark Jr, do you feel ready to fight?- Fury asked me.
-Yeah, Romanoff and Barton mainly trained me, but every Avengers taught me something.- I said as Fury looked the Avengers, for their confirmation -You are underage, you need to talk of this with your father.-
-Dad, please.- I asked him -Nat will be with me. I'm gonna be fine. Nobody there knows me. I need to proof that I can handle things by myself.-
-If you are going, I am too.- he said -Fury do you think I can stay on the roof if I beat their asses without alarming them?- he asked.
-Yeah, Stark you can, but only because I know you would still do it even if I said no.-
-Alright, sweetie, you can go. If the situation gets out of hand, I will come to help you.- Dad said.
-Thank you, dad.- I hugged him.
-Just try to not get harmed.-
-Okay Stark Jr, Romanoff, come with me, so the S.H.I.E.L.D. will give you some weapons and will suit you up. Stark, we'll see you there.-
-Give us a couple of minutes, Nick.- Nat said going to Bruce and hugging him.
I quickly went to change my clothes, opting for a grey hoodie and a pair of black leggings.
When I came back to the main room someone hugged me from behind.
-Please don't go...- I heard Peter's voice breaking.
-Hey Pete, I'm gonna be okay. Don't worry.- I smiled, turning around to face him.
-What if someone shoot or stab you?- he asked.
-It's not what you risk everyday, spider boy?- I asked, ruffling his hair.
-Yeah but...-
-No but. I'm going to save Bucky. And you'll see me walking through that door on my legs, I can assure you.-
-Okay.- he smiled, hugging me tightly.
When we broke the hug, dad came to me.
-I'm hating myself for letting you do this. But I trust you enough to let you go because I know you're smart and strong.- he said, hugging me.
-And I'm grateful to you for letting me go.- I rested my head on his shoulder.
-So is this what you feel everytime I go on a mission?- he asked.
-What do you feel?-
-Anxiety, fear, stress, anger.- he answered.
-Yup, that's what I feel.- I smiled.
After hugging everyone, me and Nat followed Fury in the car.
-Morning director Fury, agent Romanoff and...Miss Stark?- Coulson asked, surprised.
-Yeah Coulson, Miss Stark will help us.- said Fury, quickly explaining the plan.
When we arrived in the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, Nat put her arm around my shoulders.
-Stay close to me. Get it?-
-Yes, spider mama.- I said, looking around amazed by everything.
-Is this the first time you go out, isn't it?-
-Yeah, it is. I never thought it would have been for saving a man.- I admitted.
-Well be is not just any man. He's your crush. So don't let feeling get over mind, okay?-
-Of course, Nat.- I smiled at her.
