A Stark and a Barnes (Bucky x Reader)

Chapter 46 (the end)

Months passed and I got used to the popularity of being Stark's daughter and heir.
Dad talked to me and Peter and told us that, in the future, both of us would have become CEO of the Stark's Industries, if we were okay with it. 
Me and Peter gladly accepted it, because we didn't want to work with someone who we didn't know, afraid to end up as Obadiah and dad, so with one almost killing the other.
Years passed and Bucky asked me to go and live with him and after that to be his wife and, of course, I accepted both times.
After the honeymoon we came back to our work, Bucky as Avenger, me as aspiring CEO of the Stark's Industries and sometimes I also fought with the others, when it wasn't something important, of course.
Some months after our wedding, one morning I found out I was pregnant.
I was happy yet scared about my pregnancy. 
Happy because I would have become a mother. 
Scared because I was worried about dad and Bucky's reaction. 
I walked in the main room, with the pregnancy test behind my back.
-Hey everyone. I...I need to talk to all of you...- I said, my heart was beating faster than normal.
-Hey doll. What's up?- Bucky asked, looking at me.
-Hi sweetie.- dad said.
-Any problem, hun?- Nat asked.
-I'm...I'm...that's difficult...- I sighed -I...I  just can't say it...look here.- I said showing the test.
-Is...is it yours? Are you...are you pregnant?- Bucky asked, widening his eyes, I just nodded -Oh my god. Are you serious?- I nodded again and, when he understood, he came to hug me and he spun me around, kissing me. 
-Oh goodness. That's a beautiful news.- Nat, Wanda and mum came to hug me when Bucky had put me down.
-So...I'm having a grandson...or a granddaughter?- dad asked, sitting down.
-Yeah, dad.- I nodded, smiling as he bursted into tears.
The months passed and we found out it was a boy.
-Let's call him Howard.- Bucky said one night while we were cuddling on the bed. 
-What?- I asked surprised. 
-Let's call him Howard.- he repeated -I want somehow to remember him.- 
-What about Howard George?- I said.
-George?- 
-Yeah, I asked Steve your parents name. So yeah, I think it's cute.- I smiled. 
-Okay yeah.- he smiled at me -Then hi Howard George, I'm your dad and I can't wait to meet you.- he stroked my belly -I already love you, little one. I hope he has your eyes.- he told me.
-I hope he has your smile.- I kissed him on the lips.
Of course at one point the paparazzi found out about my pregnancy and we were all over the news, again.
The nine months passed and Howard George was born.
He looked a lot like his dad but with my eyes.
A year later we found out that I was pregnant again, but this time was a girl.
We chose Maria Winnifred for the name, like my grandma and his mom. 
She looked more like me but with her father's eyes.
-Mum! Howard ruined my drawing!- Maria said walking to me, one afternoon, while I was working and Bucky had left a couple of days ago for a mission.
-Howard George Barnes.- I called him.
-Maria ate my cookies!- he complained, arriving in my studio. 
-Maria Winnifred Barnes.-
-But mom...- she said.
-Buddy, what me and daddy said about ruining your sister's thing? And sweetie, what me and daddy said about eating your brother's food? Now apologise. Both of you.-
-I'm sorry, Mary, for ruining your drawing.- the boy said.
-I'm sorry too, Howie, for eating your cookie.- she said, then they hugged each other. 
-Good, now mama has to work.- I smiled at them.
-But I want to go to the tower.- Maria said, frowning.
-I'm sorry to interrupt you y/n, but Bucky just got back to the tower.- Jarvis said. 
-Yes, mommy. Daddy is back.- Howard said smiling. 
-Is he okay, Jarvis?- the little girl asked.
-Yes, little miss. He has just some scratches and bruises, but for the rest he's fine.- Jarvis answered while some tears formed in her eyes.
-Mommy, please. Can we go? Daddy is hurt.- she cried out.
-Okay, okay. But you know your daddy is strong, he will be okay in no time.- I said. 
I closed my laptop and we left the house.
We got in the car and I drove to the tower.
I took Howard by one hand and Maria with the other.
I knocked at the door and when someone inside said "Come in" we entered.
Immediately the two kids left my hands and ran to their dad, hugging him at his legs.
-Hey there kids.- Bucky smiled at them, rubbing their backs -I'm okay. Dad is okay.- he kissed their heads. 
-I was so worried, daddy.- she said, wiping her eyes.
-Me too.- said the boy. 
Bucky picked them up and smiled at them.
-Look, I'm fine, really, kids. I missed you.- he said softly, with teary eyes. 
-We missed you too.- they hugged him tightly. 
-Can I say hi to mum at least?- he asked, putting down the kids, as they nodded.
I hugged him and kissed him.
-I missed you, Bucket. I was so worried.- I said resting my hand on his chest.
-I missed you too, doll. But I'm here now.- he stroked my cheek.
Bruce quickly checked on his health and once we were sure he was ok, we came back home. 
-Dad! Dad! Look at my drawing. It's me, Howie, you and mum.- she handed him the paper.
-It's amazing, sweetie. It's beautiful.- he smiled at her.
My heart started beating faster when I saw that scene.
Everytime I watched him interact with the kids my heart melted.
"How did I end up with an amazing family like this?" I thought.
If someone ten, fifteen years ago would have told me that I would have an amazing husband and family I would have not believed them.
-Mum, are you okay?- the little boy asked me.
-Yes, honey. I was just thinking how lucky I am to have you in my life.- I ruffled his hair.
-We are lucky to have you too, mommy.- the little girl kissed my cheek.
-Let's go and play, Mary.- Howard took his sister's hand and they went to play.
Bucky came closer to me and hugged me.
-I was scared of not seeing you anymore.- I whispered. 
-They can't take me down so easily, I have a wife and two kids.- he smiled, kissing me.
-I love you, Buck.- 
-I love you too, doll.-
