A Stark and a Barnes (Bucky x Reader)

Chapter 35

Bucky's pov 
I was working out alone, when I heard Jarvis's voice calling me.
-Sergeant we have a problem.- he said.
-What is it, Jarvis?- I asked, breathing heavily. 
-It's Miss Stark...- he answered immediately.
-What happened to her?- I asked, a little worried, stopping in the middle of the gym.
-She has a pretty bad wound, she lost blood and she fainted in the bathroom of Agent Romanoff's apartment a moment ago.- he informed me.
-She what? Oh my god...- I started panicking -Okay so...mh...tell the others that you found the area where she is, but not the exact point, then I'll go to take her.- I said trying to think straight. 
-Okay Sergeant. Please, be quick. I'm worried about y/n.- 
-I will Jarvis, don't doubt me.- I tried to play cool, but I was scared to lose her.
In my head there were the worst scenarios.
I shook my head, trying to focus.
I texted the girls, to inform them about what Jarvis just told me.
I went to the main room when everyone was talking frantically.
All of us were preoccupied.
I sat on the chair, listening to the others.
My fingers drummed on my leg nervously.
I looked around and I saw that Natasha and Wanda motioned for me to look at my phone.

Wanda Maximoff 
Do they know she's hurt?

No, they don't.
We can't tell them or they would ask us how we know.
We don't want them to suspect.

Natasha Romanoff 
Alright.
Hey Barnes?

What?

Natasha Romanoff 
She's gonna be fine.
She's strong.
So don't worry too much, get it?

Yeah, I get it.

I turned off my phone and I nodded to Natasha and Wanda, who in return smiled a little.
-Okay Avengers, so we know that y/n is in this area. The first who found her communicates it to the others.- Steve explained. 
-If I can give you an advice. Don't force her to come here. Try to speak to her to convince her.- Wanda said in a sweet yet worried tone.
-Yeah, we don't know how she is mentally after...y'know...the fight with Tony and Peter.- Nat said.
-So Tony, Peter, if you find her tell us and someone else will talk to her.- Wanda said.
-She's my daughter.- Tony complained. 
"She's my girlfriend." I thought, sighing heavily. 
-In this moment the important thing is to find her. So Tony you will do as you will be told.- Steve imposed on him.
-We are just losing time. Stop arguing and let's go.- Nat said, putting herself between the two men.
-Yeah, Nat's right. Let's go.- Wanda said and I mentally thanked them for not wasting more time.
-I hope you two understoond.- Clint said to Peter and Tony.
-Yeah, I understand.- Peter nodded.
-Whatever.- Tony answered, rolling his eyes.
We left the tower and went to the area Jarvis told us.
When we arrived we splitted up.
I checked the position and I ran to Natasha's apartment.
I tried to open the door, but it was locked.
After some pushing the door opened.
I rushed to find the bathroom.
When I saw her unconscious on the floor covered in blood, my heart skipped a beat. 
I knelt down next to her and checked her pulse.
"She's still alive." I sighed in relief.
I took her in my arms in a bridal style, with her head resting on my chest.
"Everything is gonna be fine. I promise you." I said, kissing softly her forehead.
I had missed her so much so one part of me was happy to have her back, the other one was pretty sad and worried.
-I found her.- I said to the others, via transceiver -But she's unconscious and she has a pretty bad wound. She lost blood.- 
-Meet us at the car. We'll be there.- Steve said.
I walked to the meeting point and the Avengers were already there.
All of them ran up to us to see her.
-Barnes what have you done to her?!- Tony asked angrily when he saw me.
-I...I did nothing. I found her like this.- I said.
-You did this! Just admit it!- he shouted at me.
-No Tony. I didn't.- I tried to stay calm.
-Just admit it, goddammit! Just like you did to my fucking parents!- he yelled with his eyes full of anger, at first I was in completely shocked -Yeah. I know you did. What are your intentions? Kill my whole family?!- 
All the Avengers were looking at us, not knowing what to do or what to say.
-No, Tony. I'm not the Winter Soldier anymore! I would never hurt anyone. I would never hurt her!- I said.
-Why wouldn't you? What would stop you? You already killed my parents!- he yelled again at me.
-Because I fucking love her!- I shouted not thinking, when I saw Tony's face I realised what I had just said -No, I...I mean...-
-Just give me my daughter, Barnes.- he said with blank eyes.
-No.- I said, keeping her closer to me.
-What?- he said, confused. 
-You heard me. I said no. After you treated her in that way, now you just come to me and say "Just give me my daughter", are you serious? I'm gonna take her to the infirmary.- I said starting to walk to the car.
-After she knows you killed her grandparents, how will she react?- he asked.
-You wouldn't.- I said facing him.
-I would and will. She'll hate you.- he said smirking.
-She won't stop hating you though.- I said trying to keep a straight face.
The fear of losing her became bigger.
-She will eventually. I'm still her father.- he said.
Without saying anything I walked to the car followed by the two girls and Bruce.
I sat down, keeping her in my arms.
Natasha sat on the driver seat and started to drive.
I felt my eyes start to tear up.
-She'll be okay, Banner?- I asked with a worried tone.
-Yes, she will. Don't worry.- he said with a kind smile. 
At this moment I felt like a monster.
All the bad things I had done in my past were coming out. 
"I don't deserve her. I don't deserve a happy ending." I thought, watching her.
I wiped the blood off her cheek with my thumb. 
-You're not a monster, Bucky. Nobody here thinks that.- Wanda said, smiling to me -y/n doesn't think that.-
-Tony does.- I said, looking away.
-Tony was just angry. In his heart he knows it's not your fault.- she said.
We arrived at the tower and we ran to the infirmary to bring y/n there.
