A Stark and a Barnes (Bucky x Reader)

Chapter 45

After spending a couple of hours answering their questions, I finished and we came back to the tower. 
-Finally I can take these off.- I said sitting on the sofa and taking off my heels.
-You did great, sweetie.- mum smiled.
-Thanks mum.- I said at her -I just can't believe they know me now.-
-Don't worry Lady y/n, they won't harm you.-
-Yeah, we won't let them.- dad said.
-Thank you everyone. Now I want to open the presents if you don't mind.- I smiled at them.
-Just wait a few minutes. This dress is uncomfortable. I'm going to change.- Wanda said. 
-Yeah, same here.- Clint nodded.
-I should go too.- Steve said, loosening his tie a little. 
-Alright everyone go and change. We'll meet here in ten minutes.- I said, taking off my jacket.
Then the others left the room, except for Bucky, who sat next to me.
Thank you, doll.- he said smiling at me.
-For what, babe?- I looked at him, confused. 
-For standing up for me before. Not everyone would have done what you did. Your speech was amazing.- he said putting his hands on my thigh.
-Your welcome and thank you.- I kissed his lips -I love you.-
-I love you too.- he whispered, deepening the kiss, as I brought my hands in his hair and his were on my hips, bringing me closer to him. 
When we heard the elevator we broke the kiss.
-Present time!- Clint and Thor shouted entering.
-You two act like kids. Somedays I swear I can't with you.- Nat sighed as everyone laughed -Go, honey, and open them.- she smiled. 
I walked to the pile of presents, although I had told them several times that I didn't want any presents, and I started opening them.
Nat had bought me some self-defence tools for my safety, "You never know, especially now that a lot of people know you".
Wanda had bought me some videotapes of some sitcoms that, in her opinion, I would have loved.
Peter had bought me a silverish bracelet with my initial letter, simple but cute.
Bruce had bought me a my personal work tools, such as a screwdriver, magnifying glass and other useful tools, since I was using dad's and often I borrowed them and then forgot I had them, and dad, although didn't want to admit it, he was pissed off about me using his tools, because he had to come to me asking for his tools.
Clint had made a beautiful collage with the best pictures of all of us together, and with best pictures I mean the funniest and the weirdest. 
Thor had brought me, directly from Asgard's royal library, two books, one of asgardian fairy tales and myth and one about use and costumes about his reign, "My brother advised me that you would have found these books interesting, so I trusted him".
Steve had brought me grandpa's old sketchbook, full of amazing ideas, that he found in the stuff he had when he was frozen, "I found it the other day and I thought it was a good idea to give it to you".
Mum, knowing my love for books and crimes, bought me a couple of Sherlock Holmes's books.
Dad, without mum's knowledge and knowing that I had almost everything I could wish for, had made me a armour like his, but the colours were purple/blue and silver, which he promised me he would have helped me how to control it and he make me promised that I wouldn't have flew around alone.
-Now it's my turn.- Bucky said putting his hand in his pocket -My grandma gave this ring to my dad, for when he had find his love, so he gave it to my mum.- he said taking out a gold rose ring and opening his hand, exposing it -When she was on her deathbed she stroked my cheek, gave it to me and told me "My boy, when you'll find your love give this to her...I don't have much time left and I know...maybe I won't meet her but if you love her and she makes you happy it's the right one". After I got brainwashed I thought I had lost it forever but when I came back to my house in Brooklyn I found it. And I want you to have it.- he said smiling sadly at me.
-Bucky...I can't accept it...- I said, shocked.
-She said that I had to give it to whomever I thought was the right one. For me you are. So please...take it.- he said, handing it to me.
I took it, a little shocked, and inside it was carved the name Barnes.
I nodded and put it on, hugging and kissing him.
-Thank you.- I smiled with tears in my eyes. 
-No, thank you for accepting it.- he smiled back, he also had reddish eyes.
After thanking everyone, and trying all my new things, we ate cake, chatted and joked all together until very late at night. 
The next morning I woke up on the sofa.
Everyone was still asleep there.
I tried to turn around but I had some arms wrapped around me.
Bucky's arms and he was awake.
-Goodmorning doll.- he said with a low and deep voice. 
-Morning Buck.- I quickly kissed his lips, resting my head on his chest.
-Slept well?-
-Yeah.- I nodded, enjoying he was stroking my back -You?-
-I haven't had nightmares since I'm with you.- he smiled. 
We waited for the others to wake up then we had breakfast. 
We turned on the tv and my face was all over the news.
-Tony Stark, also known as Iron-man, yesterday  with his whole team, announced that he and Mrs Stark have an 18-year-old daughter. All the media blew up for the news. Mr Stark explained his reasons and his daughter answered a lot of questions, and it came out that the girl is dating a super soldier, James Barnes, ex Winter Soldier. In the interview she also defended him from rude comments.- the man said at the news.
-Oh god.- I sighed -I'm pretty scared to see the newspapers titles now.- I admitted.
At that moment Steve walked in with various types of newspapers. 
-y/n, look here.- he said putting them on the table.

"Tony Stark and Pepper Potts's news!!!
They have an 18-year-old daughter!"

"The heir of the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist:
y/n y/m/n Stark."

"All the things we know about y/n Stark for now."

"Tony Stark's daughter (y/n Stark) is dating the ex assassin and super soldier, Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes."

-You're on the first page of everything.- Peter said, looking at them.
-I guess I am.- I smiled embarrassed, scratching the back of my neck.
