"How long do you think has this been here?" Y/N asked.
"I dont know." Ranboo shrugged. "Theres moss so its probably been here for a while now."
Y/N hummed.
All of a sudden, the sky decided to rumble, making Y/N jump then both of them looking up at the sky.
"We should go home now." Ranboo said. "We might get stranded here when it rains harder."
Y/N nodded and agreed. She started packing her things while Ranboo helped. Once they finished, they left the garden and walked down the pathway until they got to the forest again. She closed the umbrella since the leaves of the trees could cover them from the rain.
They followed the same path they took, Y/N fully remembering the path while Ranboo still felt a bit lost. Y/N has been there a lot of times before so, its obvious she would remember how to go back and forth.
They eventually got to the main road when it started pouring down a bit stronger.
"Uh oh." said Ranboo.
"We just have to be fast, and we have an umbrella." Y/N replied.
She pulled it up above their heads, well, above her head. Ranboo crouched down a bit to get under the umbrella with Y/N.
They chuckled once they realized the situation. Ranboo chuckled because he felt ashamed for the situation, and Y/N chuckled because of how embarrassing and how close Ranboo is to her.
"D-Do you want me to hold up the umbrella instead?" Ranboo asked.
"Yes, I believe that would be better." Y/N nodded.
She handed him the umbrella and he took it. It definitely seemed better for both of them since both of them are being sheltered from the rain.
They both walked home together. The rain wasnt that strong but it was still enough to make you drenched if you just walk without an umbrella.
While walking, they decided to get to know each other a bit.
"So," Ranboo started, Y/N looked up at him. "I know we just met and we just introduced ourselves to each other but, can I get to know you?"
Y/N simply blinked before Ranboo continued.
"I-Im asking because, you know, maybe youre uncomfortable." Ranboo chuckled and shrugged. "Because youre socially awkward, you know?"
"I know." Y/N nodded but smiled. "And yes, you can get to know me. It will help me too."
Ranboo smiled. "Okay, Ill start." Y/N nodded in return.
"What do you do for fun?" He asked. "Like hobbies."
"I read books, I paint small flowers for my journal sometimes, journalling, gardening and cooking maybe?" Y/N replied.
"Oh wow, thats a lot." Ranboo chuckled, followed by Y/N right after.
"Well, you dont get to do much when youre 'stranded' and have old people as neighbors." Y/N explained. "Not that theres something wrong with it! Your grandparents are absolutely lovely!"
"I know! I know!" Ranboo chuckled. "I get what you mean."
Y/N sighed in relief. "What about you? What are your hobbies?"
"Well, I play video games, go to school, hangout with my friends." Ranboo shrugged. "The usual teenager stuff."
"I dont know the 'usual teenager stuff.'" said Y/N.
"Oh right." They chuckled. "Dont mind it really."
"Okay." She shrugged.
They continued getting to know more about each other until they got home. Y/N dropped Ranboo off at his grandparents' house then she went home herself.
She set down the wet umbrella on the porch the let the water drip down while she went inside. She changed out of her clothes and started getting ready for dinner.
In the other house, Ranboo was greeted by his family.
"Oh youre home!" Grandpaboo greeted.
Ranboo just smiled. He walked over to sit at the couch and listened to whatever his family has to say.
"Ranboo, me and your dad will leave early tomorrow morning, okay?" Ranmom said from the kitchen. "If you want to say 'goodbye' to us before we leave, you wake up early."
"Okay, mom." Ranboo replied.
He then turned his attention to the tv but was interrupted by his grandfather.
"So?" Grandpaboo started. "How was your little trip?"
"Oh." Ranboo said once he turned to his direction. "It was good, I found Y/N in the garden you told me about."
"Did you two talk?" He asked.
"Yeah, she said you told her to make friends." Ranboo chuckled. "She made me stay and help her with the whole friend making thing."
Grandpaboo smiled and nodded. "I see, I see. Thats good for her."
"It is." Ranboo nodded. "She did learn something atleast."
Grandpaboo hummed in acknowledgement.

Its about time to go to sleep, it was already at 11 pm. Not the usual time for Ranboo to sleep but he was tired and it was cold and quiet here so it helped him feel more tired than usual.
He laid down, his right arm on his forehead while his other arm resting on his stomach, on the bed in the room offered to him. He stared up on the ceiling as the moonlight shone down on him.
On the side of his vision, he can vaguely see the orange light of Y/N's room next door. Well, it looked orange because of the color of the wallpaper that is colored light yellow orange.
He decided to look over. He leaned back on his elbows as he looked over to Y/N's room. The windows were still open as she fumbled around in her room, getting things arranged and such. He watched her keenly on what she did.
Y/N was arranging the mess she left in her room. Youre maybe wondering why now, in the middle of the night. Its probably because she still wasnt tired. This was her way of getting tired and also satisfied that she get to sleep in an organized and clean room.
Y/N still felt someone's gaze in her so she turned to the only place she felt someone looking at her. Even if the room Ranboo was in was dark, she still managed to see him because of the moonlight shining down directly on him.
He's like a demigod of some sort where the moon and the rest of nature is working in his favor.
Y/N smiled and waved at Ranboo as she continued organizing. Ranboo waved back when she was still looking. Y/N probably wouldnt have waved if she didnt know Ranboo was nice and kind. If it was just someone next door, she wouldve been scared and not leave the house until that person leaves. She immediately felt comfortable around Ranboo after they hung out in that garden.
Ranboo smiled as he reached for the blinds and closed it. He laid back down and closed his eyes. He smiled, hearing the faint sounds of Y/N organizing her things next door, until he felt himself drift to sleep.
