Ranboo woke up, Y/N still asleep on his shoulder. She seems to be in a very deep sleep.
He kissed her head and tried to carry her onto her bed. Once she got her on his arms, he kissed her forehead and placed her down on her bed. After that, he left.
He went back to his grandparents' to see his parents' car there already. It was 7 am and theyre already here.
He went through the front door and was greeted by his parents and grandparents.
"Ranboo!" Ranmom greeted.
"Hi mom." He greeted back. "Dad."
"How was your stay here for about two weeks?" Ranmom asked, excited to catch up with her son.
"Its been fine." Ranboo muttered. "Ill go pack now, I guess."
He then walked off to the room he stayed in. Ranmom and Randad stood there, confused as to why Ranboo acted like that.
They turned to Ranboo's grandparents and asked. They explained it to them and they understood why.
"Ranboo didnt take the news very well." Grandpaboo said. "He's pretty upset that he will leave Y/N here sooner than planned."
Ranboo's parents sighed.
"Y/N is upset about it too." Grandmaboo added.
Randad was about to walk up to Ranboo's room but Ranmom stopped him.
"Ill go talk to him." She smiled then followed after Ranboo in his room.
When she got there, he found Ranboo sitting down on the floor.
"Ranboo." She called.
He turned to her, sadness in his eyes.
"Can I come in?" She asked.
Ranboo nodded.
She entered the room and she sat down next to him while he pack his things back into the luggage he brought.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Ranmom asked, helping him fold his clothes.
"I dont really want to mom." Ranboo muttered.
"Okay." Ranmom nodded.
They continued folding clothes and putting it in the luggage until Ranboo talked.
"I like her mom." He muttered.
Ranmom turned to him, not that shocked. She knew this wasnt just a platonic relationship between them, this is much more than that.
"Is that why you dont want to leave her?" She asked.
"Yes," Ranboo nodded. "But its also that Im the only one she has."
Ranmom nodded, folding more clothes.
"I would let you stay longer so you and Y/N can talk about it but," she replied. "We have to come with your dad."
"I know." Ranboo muttered. "Im just not ready to leave Y/N yet."
"I know its hard." Ranmom replied. "But its not forever, right?"
"You will still see her." She added. "You can send each other letters."
"But letters take so long to arrive here." Ranboo whined.
"Atleast you have communication." Ranmom shrugged. "Itll be hard but its manageable."
"Yeah." Ranboo nodded.
Ranmom stayed silent, then Ranboo's eyes started to water and eventually it dropped onto his clothes that are already in his luggage. Ranmom rubbed circles on his back to comfort him.
"We will come back next summer okay?" Ranmom comforted. "I promise."
"But thats too long." Ranboo cried.
"Thats just how it is Ranboo." Ranmom shrugged. She has to be honest at this point, any more lies will hurt him more.
Ranboo then hugged his mother and she hugged him back.
"Mom?" Ranboo called, muffled by his mother's shoulder.
She hummed.
"I like Y/N and the girl in my dreams." Ranboo said. "W-What do I do?"

A few hours had passed, around and 1 or 2 when Y/N woke up, not seeing Ranboo anywhere. She was laying on her bed now but the last thing she remembered before falling asleep was that she was seating on the floor along with Ranboo.
She sat up and looked around. When she saw nothing, she stood up and thats when he heard some bickering outside.
She ran downstairs and opened her front door, only to see Ranboo saying goodbye to his grandparents. Her eyes widened and tears just came rushing down.
Her lower lip quivered as she tried to stop tears from falling but it fell anyway.
Ranboo looked at her, pain in his eyes as well. His eyes started tearing up as well when Y/N slammed the door shut and all he heard was shuffling from behind and a few sniffling and whimpers.
Y/N was sitting against the front door, crying her heart out. But, no matter how much she cries, Ranboo wouldnt stay.
Ranboo looked back at the car in front of him and boarded it. He sat there, staring at the floor.
Ranmom and Randad turned to him, checking if he is okay. He just stared at the floor while his parents gave each other worrying looks. After, Randad started up the car.
Y/N wanted to go out, but she's afraid that it will hurt more if she sees him go. But it will hurt too if she would stay there.
As the car started driving away, Y/N opened her door and ran to the street. The car was already far to be even chased but Y/N shouted something on the top of her lungs.
"Ranboo!" She shouted.
She shouted the loudest she could even if Ranboo wouldnt be able to hear her.
"Ranboo, I love you!" She sobbed and kneeled down on the floor.
-
Ranboo heard her shout from inside the car. His head shot up and tears fell when he heard her.
He looked out at the window behind the back seat and saw Y/N shout "I love you" at him and kneel down on the floor.
More tears came out and he reached out his hand.
"I love you too, Y/N." He muttered.
He stayed looking at that window until Y/N was no longer in view, only the flower fields along the road.
He stared out the window, tears still running down his cheek. Ranmom turned to him and placed a comforting hand on his knee.
He looked at it then to his mom. When he met her gaze, she smiled and he gave a timid smile back.
