Dandelions - Ruth B.

Ranboo stared at the photo. He couldnt believe his eyes. That was him?

"W-Wait.." Ranboo chuckled. "This.. This is me?"

"Yeah." Y/N nodded. "That is you."

"I.." Ranboo chuckled once again. He couldnt bring it to himself to believe that the person in the photo was him.

He didnt even show his face yet, it looked good.

"Beautiful.. right?" Y/N asked, slightly worried Ranboo actually didnt like it.

"Yeah." Ranboo nodded. "Even me."

Y/N chuckled. "Yeah, even you. Showing or not showing your face, youre beautiful."

Ranboo looked up at her, eyebrows raised. It took Y/N a moment to realize what she said and when she finally did, she felt her cheeks go warm. She looked away and covered her cheeks.

Ranboo just smiled and look back down at the photo.

"I-.. Thank you." He said looking up again at Y/N.

"No problem." Y/N smiled back, still looking away.

"Ill be right back, Ill go put it inside." Ranboo said standing up.

"Okay." Y/N nodded. "Mrs. Beloved is asleep by the way so keep it down when you go up the stairs."

"I will." Ranboo said as he walked past Y/N.

When he was gone, Y/N took a deep breath and stood up. She walked a bit further into the field and stood there, feeling the grass and flowers on her fingertips while staring at her surroundings.

Ranboo, who was inside the house, settled the polaroid on the bedside table in his room and grabbed his phone, wishing to take photos of the surroundings or maybe Y/N as well. He grabbed it and went back downstairs.

When he got back to the field, he saw Y/N just walking in the field, her hands a bit spread out, touching the grass with her fingertips.

He isnt a professional photographer but he sees the potential of the setting. He walked over to the field and tried his best to walk over to a spot where the angle would be good.

He didnt go in as deep as Y/N into the field, instead he stayed slightly by the side. As Y/N ran around, her hands spread out touching the grass and the flowers, the wind bringing her hair along with it and her skin and clothing colored by the orange sunset, Ranboo took the photo with his phone.

The photo captured Y/N playing around in the field, slightly off to the side. In the background, you could see the rest of the field, a few trees and of course, the sun that is setting, its rays hitting the camera and a few trees blocking it.

The special part of the photo was that Y/N's smile was visible despite her being far from the camera. Yes, its from a digital camera, it could have some photoshop done to it or have some filters added to it but for Ranboo it was perfect.

Ranboo looked at it and smiled, a bit shocked yet happy. He didnt expect he would be able to take such a beautiful shot. A professional wouldve said that this was a bad shot but for him, he was happy and he even thinks it is special, that is what is important.

Y/N then noticed him, standing within the field, smiling at his phone. She ran over to him and asked what it was.

"What are you smiling at?" She asked in a sing-song way.
