Y/N was taken aback by Ranboo's action. Her eyes widened as she also froze on the spot.

"R-Ranboo..?" She stuttered.

Ranboo tightened his grip a bit more on Y/N. She was genuinely confused why Ranboo suddenly became this way. Normally, it was her who was clingy, now it was him.

"Ranboo." She chuckled. "Im fine, you can let go now."

Ranboo didnt move. Y/N sighed, thinking she has to do something in return. She hugged him back and she felt Ranboo smile.

He then stepped away from the hug and smiled shyly at her.

"Sorry about that." He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

"What was that?" Y/N asked.

"Uhh, nothing." Ranboo shook his head. "It just made me scared and worried because it.. reminded me of something."

His face shifted from being bashful to being sad. Y/N immediately felt bad and also worried about Ranboo. He noticed her emotion change along with his so he clarified it out.

"Oh! No, its nothing!" Ranboo said, gaining back his energy. "Its nothing serious, dont worry!"

Y/N smiled even though her eyebrows are still a bit furrowed. "Are you sure?"

Ranboo nodded.

"Do you wanna clean up and go home?" Y/N asked. "I think you need to go home since you seem so tense now."

"I-Im fine, really." Ranboo chuckled. "We can stay!"

Y/N smiled. "Okay," then pulled him towards the tree again and sat down.

They stayed quiet for a few minutes, feeling each other's presence again. Ranboo however, is still tensed from what Y/N did.

The place being very similar to his dream didnt help one bit. It made him even more anxious.

"Ranboo?" Y/N called, snapping him out of his trance.

He snapped his head towards Y/N and replied, "Y-Yeah?"

"Are you sure youre okay?" Y/N asked.

Ranboo was about to reply but Y/N cut him off. "The truth."

Ranboo sighed. "I was worried when you were up there."

Y/N stayed quiet, turning her body towards him completely. She listened to whatever he has to say.

"R-Remember when you said, you had a dream where you almost died?" Ranboo asked, turning to her.

She nodded.

"I-It happened in my dream too but instead of it happening to me," Ranboo continued. "It happened to my soulmate."

Y/N's eyes widened.

"S-She fell off a similar cliff but thankfully, we woke up." Ranboo added before Y/N completely gets worried.

"Is she okay?" Y/N asked.

"Shes okay." Ranboo nodded, a smile on his face. "I-It did scare her but I think she's doing fine now."

"Atleast she is okay." Y/N smiled. "And its only in a dream right?"

Ranboo turned to her then nodded slowly.

"Then if she dies in a dream, she wont die in real life." Y/N shrugged. "Atleast thats what I know."

This made Ranboo chuckle and Y/N smile.

"How are you so... positive?" Ranboo asked and Y/N shrugged.

"I dont know." She said. "Im not normally like this. Probably because I met you and you are my first friend."

"Maybe." Ranboo smiled and grabbed a piece of grape.

"So," Y/N said after a minute. Ranboo turned to her while chewing a grape. "Werent you gonna tell me something?"

"Oh, right." Ranboo smiled, painfully. "I wanted to tell you about me.."

"About you what?" Y/N asked.

Ranboo took a deep breath before starting his sentence.

"About me going back to the city." Ranboo said, turning his face away.

Y/N's eyes widened. She knew this tine would eventually come and all their fun times will end.

"W-When are you going back?" She asked.

It took a while for Ranboo to answer but he eventually mustered the courage to reply.

"In.. 4 days." Ranboo muttered. Y/N's shoulders fell along with her gaze.

They stayed silent for a few seconds. Until Ranboo muttered, "Im going to miss you.."

"Me too." Y/N muttered as well. "But hey!"

Ranboo looked up at her because of the sudden energy. It looked like she's just forcing herself to smile to make him feel better.

"Atleast we still have 4 days to hang out!" Y/N said, kneeling down and spreading her arms wide. "We can spend the remaining time together!"

Ranboo lowered his head. He couldnt stop himself from tearing up.

"W-Why do you have to be so positive.." he muttered.

Y/N heard it, sat back down on her calves and moved more closer to Ranboo.

They stayed there until eventually, Y/N hugged him. She felt like he needed it. They needed it.

Ranboo's tears came rushing out and Y/N let out a deep sigh, feeling herself tear up as well.

"Im going to miss you too." Y/N said, muffled by Ranboo's clothing.

Ranboo slowly lifted his arms and hugged her back. Y/N then tightened her hug in return.

"Youre.. youre the only friend I have." Y/N managed to say. "And youre the bestest friend I could ever ask for."

Ranboo cried even more. "Same here."

They stayed hugging each other for a while.

"We shouldnt cry." Y/N chuckled. "As if we are not going to see each other again."

"Yeah." Ranboo chuckled back.

"We should.." Y/N yawned. "..just spend our time together while you're still here."

Ranboo hummed.

After a while, Y/N felt her eyes get heavy. Ranboo noticed that her breathing became even and there were tiny snores coming from her.

He smiled and let Y/N stay there while also figuring out how to get home. It was getting dark and they should be heading home.

Before it got fully dark, someone came to them. It was Ranboo's grandfather. He walked over to them and asked about what are they still doing out this late.

"Y/N fell asleep on my shoulder." Ranboo chuckled. "I didnt want to wake her up."

Grandpaboo chuckled. "Oh well, Ill go arrange this so we can go home."

"Thank you granpapa." Said Ranboo and Grandpaboo smiled back.

He started arranging the things they brought for their picnic in the basket while Ranboo carried Y/N. They all started heading home together.

Ranboo went into Y/N's house and set her down on her bed. He left a kiss on her forehead and was about to leave, but then Y/N woke up.
