Ranboo opened his eyes, he was met by a very gloomy sky and surroundings. The sky was pouring down light rain and it made noises as it dropped on to the ground.

The place this time was a place he is most definitely familiar with. A.. city?

"A city?" He muttered as he looked around. "Why am I in a city?"

"Arent we supposed to be in some medieval, old looking place?" Ranboo thought. "Not a modern high tech place like this."

He walked under the protection of roofs and tried to see where he is. He also looked for Paint.

The place was fully explorable and you dont go through loop holes. The place was huge, its expected when the place is a city and it took Ranboo a while to even get through some places.

After a while of looking for Paint, he saw her, drenched in rain water, sitting down by a very bright building. It seems to look like a convenience store.

Ranboo panicked and just ran through the rain towards Paint. She heard his footsteps so she looked up and saw him.

"G-Green eye?" Paint stuttered caused by the cold. She has her hands on her shoulders to keep her warm and her legs up to her chest.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, sounding a bit mad. "You shouldve gone inside or had a roof over your head. Youre drenched!"

While Ranboo was lecturing Paint what she shouldve done, he was taking off the top layer of his outfit. His outfit consists of a warm coat on top of a gray turtleneck sweater paired with brown pants.

He took off his coat and put it around Paint's body. After that, he pulled her up and walked towards where he was before he walked into the rain.

"What were you doing there, Paint?" Ranboo asked, genuinely worried.

"I.." She muttered, looking down at her feet.

"I know this is a dream but, you do know it is possible that something can happen to people because of what happens in these dreams, right?" Ranboo continued. "Like cough or cold. If you drench yourself in rain, your body outside of the dream world will react to that since that is what your brain thinks."

(A/N: This is not true lol. But just go along with it)

Ranboo paused, reviewing what he said and he realized he said a mistake.

"Well, besides death but you get the point." He quickly added, correcting the misinformation.

Paint nodded and stayed silent.

"Now, tell me what were you doing there?" Ranboo asked again, a bit agitated. He was really worried about her.

"I.." She repeated again.

Ranboo leaned down a bit to match with her eye level. He raised his eyebrows at her which made her look at him then back down at the floor.

"I.. got lost." She replied, sighing afterwards.

"Well, you couldve just atleast stayed under these roofs here or in a building." Ranboo replied. "Not sit outside by the convenience store."

"I didnt know how to open the door." She mumbled, embarrassed to confess.

"What?" Ranboo raised his eyebrow. "You dont know how to open a door?"

"No." Paint shook her head. "The doors at that store are different."

Ranboo was confused so he told her that he will check it out. He walked through the rain again for a moment and walked up to the store's door.

"Its an automatic one." Ranboo muttered. "But its closed at the moment."

"But why leave the lights open?" He furrowed his eyebrows. He scoffed then went back to Paint.

"The doors are automatic doors and the store was just closed." Ranboo explained to Paint.

"Are lights in stores in the city left open when they are closed?" Paint asked.

"N-No." Ranboo shook his head.

"Then why do they have the lights open?" Paint asked. "They shouldnt have the lights on they will be mistaken as opened and not closed."

"Honestly," Ranboo started. "I dont know either."

Ranboo thought about it then he realized something.

"Paint?" He called, turning to her.

She looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Are you not familiar with a city?" He asked.

Paint looked down and shook her head. Ranboo chuckled.

"That explains why you dont know how automatic doors work, and you got lost, huh?" He stated. Paint nodded, embarrassed.

Paint, still grabbing onto the coat Ranboo lended her, walked over to a pole that held up the roof that is sheltering them and sat down on the floor, leaning on it.

Ranboo noticed so he walked over too. He sat next to her, leaning against the pole aswell.

Paint had her legs up to her chest, her arms on her knees and her chin resting on her arms. She sighed after she finally settled how she will sit.

Ranboo just observed her. Seeing what she would do. He got nothing, Paint sat there looking sad and thinking about stuff.

"Paint?" Ranboo asked. She hummed. "I didnt mean to be mad at you."

"Its fine." Paint mumbled. "I would be mad too if I saw you drenched."

Ranboo hummed and nodded, looking away.

"To be fair, I wouldnt have been drenched if you were here earlier." She added, shrugging.

"What?" Ranboo turned to her again. "What do you mean?"

"Everything was dark before you came here." She explained. "The only thing that illuminated the place was that building."

She pointed at the store she was trying to get into.

"I just woke up in front of the door, rain already pouring down on me." She added. "I tried to get in and try to not get wet,"

"But it was locked and it was dark everywhere so I couldnt see." She continued. "I got scared so I just sat down by the building. I curled up into a ball and then I heard your footsteps a bit after."

Ranboo listened to her every word. At that moment, he felt very responsibke if Paint would ever get sick. Even if he likes Y/N and wanted to stay with her in the real world, he shouldve gone here faster. She is his soulmate afterall.

"Im sorry Paint." Ranboo said, turning to her completely.

She looked back at him. He raised his hand up to her face and ran his thumb on her cheek.

"Ill try to come earlier now, okay?" He said while caressing her cheek.

"You dont have to." Paint smiled sweetly. "But thank you for the effort."

She looked away then continued. "Maybe someone needs you on the outside." She shrugged.
