"And there." Ranboo said as he stood back up straight.

He just finished setting up the picnic spot for them, a blanket and the food laid out on it. Y/N was in the distance, exploring areas of the garden.

She has already been here before but she still likes to roam around, looking for whatever she could find.

"Y/N!" He called, waving his hand in the air.

Y/N turned to his direction. She was crouched down next to the pond, swirling her hand in it. She stood back up and ran back to him. Oh also, Y/N was barefooted just because she wants to.

"I got everything out of the basket." Ranboo said, motioning to the food as Y/N approached him.

"Woahh." She said. "Thank you!"

He smiled as they both sat down where the shade of the leaves are covering them.

They started eating the food they brought. There were sandwiches, fruits, and drinks enough for the both of them. It wasnt much since Y/N was the only one who prepared it, except for the fruits which Grandmaboo gave them last minute.

They ate in silence as they admired their surroundings. Well, Y/N did, Ranboo admired her.

He couldnt figure out what is with her. Not that there is a problem with her, he just feels different around her. He feels satisfied, happy, but also he felt like there was something missing.

"Ranboo?" Y/N called, snapping Ranboo out of his trance. "Are you okay?"

"H-Huh?" Ranboo said, looking up at her. "O-Oh yeah, Im fine."

"You sure?" She asked. "You seem bothered by something."

"Yeah, Im good, Im good." Ranboo chuckled.

"Okay." Y/N smiled then turned to in front of her again, observing the surroundings.

After a while, she remembered something and turned to their basket. Ranboo watched to see what she has planned. She then pulled out her polaroid camera. She faced Ranboo and had a look on her face which basically says, "Can we take a photo?"

Ranboo smiled and nodded. Y/N smiled back and she turned away from Ranboo. She lifted up the polaroid camera and pointed it towards them. She doesnt even know if theyre on frame but atleast they can be seen.

When the film came out, she waited for a few more minutes. While she waited, she ran towards the pond and tried taking photos of whatever.

Eventually, the films fully developed. Y/N looked at the photos she took of the garden and then their photo.

Only the top half of her face was seen and Ranboo's head or face wasnt visible. He was sitting cross legged and holding a sandwich on his right hand while showing a peace sign on the other.

Y/N snickered and ran back to Ranboo who was just, staring off into the distance, figuring out what ever is going on in his mind.

Ranboo snapped back to reality as he noticed Y/N's presence. She gave the photo to Ranboo to which he took. He observed it and couldnt help but laugh.

"I can put that in my journal, can't I?" Y/N asked. "Cuz your face isnt shown?"

"Yeah, you can." Ranboo nodded then smiled.

"Okay, Ill do it tomorrow." Y/N said, putting the polaroid photos into the basket. "For now... hmmm."

Y/N stayed quiet, thinking what they could do. Just then, a memory hit her. She turned to behind her and looked at the entrance.

"Stay here, Boo." She said, standing up and running off.

"Hey wai-" Ranboo tried to catch up to her atleast by words but it didnt.

"B..Boo..?" He muttered also blushing a bit. He found the nickname weird.

As Y/N walked pass the leaves that covers the entrance of the garden, she walked over to the surrounding areas of it. It is usually covered by trees or bushes but she still kept on looking.

Until she found what she was looking for. She smiled brightly and tried to get past the bushes and trees covering it.

She eventually got through and there she saw the actual path.

"Well, that took a bit longer than expected." She muttered, walking down the path up the mountain.

Ranboo stayed there, under the tree. His legs were up to his chest and he had his fingers intertwined, his thumbs are pressed against each other while it rested on his knees.

He anxiously waited for Y/N to return. Not knowing what to do. He also was anxious about how he would tell her. He eventually stood up, not being able to handle the stress over it and he started walking back and forth.

"Just be straight forward with her, Ranboo." He muttered to himself. "Just tell her youre gonna leave BUT you will be back."

"No, no, no." He shook his head. "You should just tell her and maybe you can contact each other through... letters..?"

Ranboo groaned and then continued debating whatever it is with himself. He then eventually heard something from above. He looked up and there was the tiniest Y/N he has ever seen.

Despite her being small, her smile is still visible and bright. She waved down at Ranboo, excitedly. His eyes widened, worry washing over him.

"What are you doing there?!" Ranboo shouted, echoing in the garden. He felt uncomfortable seeing Y/N in such a high area.

"I explored!" Y/N replied. "I-"

She stopped, should she tell him about her dreams?

"I found it!" Y/N continued.

Ranboo scoffed. "Of course you did."

"Just come back down here!" He shouted. "I dont think its safe!"

"Ill be fine!" Y/N shouted back.

Even if Y/N told Ranboo she was safe and will be fine, he didnt believe her.

"Just get down please Y/N?" Ranboo asked, using his pleading voice to which Y/N could never resist.

Y/N chuckled. "Okay!" Then she disappeared from where she was.

Ranboo took a deep breath when she disappeared. He assumed she started walking down. Even if he knew Y/N is getting down, he's still anxious.

He started thinking about what happened in that dream he had, where his soulmate fell, in a similar place like this.

He paced back and forth until after a few minutes, she came back. She called him and Ranboo rushed to her, checking if she was okay.

"Are you okay?!" He asked, he had his hands on her shoulders, gripping tightly but not too much.

"Yeah?" Y/N chuckled. "What's gotten into you?"

"Im just worried.." Ranboo chuckled nervously. Y/N smiled warmly at him.

Ranboo then tighten his grip on Y/N's shoulder. He hesitated for a bit and then he just did it.

He hugged her, tightly.
