"Oh, uhm." Grandpaboo said. "About that."

Ranboo turned to his grandfather.

"I went to the town today and got to talk to your parents." Grandpaboo explained.

"Oh." Ranboo said. "How are they? What did they say?"

Grandpaboo continued. "They want you to get home earlier than anticipated."

Ranboo furrowed his eyebrows. "What? What do you mean?"

"Theyre.."

"Theyre arriving tomorrow, Ranboo." Grandmaboo explained.

Ranboo turned his gaze onto her. "W-Why tho?"

"Your dad has to go to a business trip that would last until the first few days of your school." Granpaboo said. "They cant leave you here since you cant go back and forth from school to here."

"B-But I can live alone." Ranboo replied. "I can take care of myself."

"You know your parents Ranboo." Grandmaboo chimed in. "They wouldnt let that."

"Im almost 17! I can take care of myself!" Ranboo shouted.

"No matter what you say," Grandmaboo shook her head. "We are not the ones who is deciding."

"They are." Grandpaboo continued.

Ranboo's gaze fell down to the floor. "But.. I cant.. leave yet though.."

"I know its difficult." Grandmaboo said. "But it will eventually happen."

Ranboo stayed still until he excused himself.

"Ill go clean myself up." Ranboo said, walking off to the bathroom. "Ill go tell Y/N afterwards as well."

His grandparents nodded and let him leave.

"W-Why?" Y/N asked. "Why do they want you back a bit early?"

"My dad is off to a business trip." Ranboo muttered. "Itll last until the first few days of my school."

"That means.. youre leaving tomorrow?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah.." Ranboo whispered.

Y/N leaned her head on Ranboo's shoulder, snuggling up to him. Her eyes threatening to fall and make her drift off to sleep.

Now, both of them are sitting on the floor. Why? Its honestly more comfortable than the bed.

Ranboo noticed her head falling down from time to time but immediately going back to its previous position. It repeated over and over again until Ranboo decided to say something about it.

"Y/N?" He cooed. Y/N hummed in return. "I think you should go to bed."

"No." Y/N whined. "I dont wanna."

"And why?" Ranboo asked.

"We need to spend time together or else we will miss opportunities after you leave." Y/N replied.

"Im pretty sure you want to, not need to" Ranboo asked again.

"Maybe I do want to spend time with you." Y/N said. "But Im sure you want it to."

Ranboo scoffed silently and smiled. "Touché, Y/N."

They have been spending almost every day since they got close and apparently that still isnt enough for Y/N.
