While they ate, they started talking about Ranboo's little trip.

"I know I already asked you last night, but how did your trip went?" Grandpaboo asked Ranboo.

"Oh!" Ranboo exclaimed, surprised by the attention going to him. "It-It went well! We became friends."

His grandparents nodded as he continued talking about it.

"I had to help her with how to make friends though but other than that, it went well." Ranboo added.

"Doesnt that also mean you showed her your face?" Grandmaboo asked. Ranboo turned to her as he put a spoonful of food in his mouth.

He nodded and chewed for a few seconds, swallowed then replied. "Yeah, she trusted me despite her social anxiety so I could only repay her with trusting her with my face despite my facial dysmorphia."

"She doesnt mind though, she actually thought I looked good!" Ranboo smiled as he looked down on his food.

His grandparents saw his smile. They looked and smiled at each other. They looked back down on their plates and continued eating.

"So what is your plan for today, Ranboo?" Grandpaboo asked.

"I dont know yet." Ranboo shook his head. "Maybe head out again, explore a bit."

Grandpaboo hummed in acknowledgement.

"Well, you can always go out and explore as long as you get home before night and you dont run away." Grandmaboo replied.

"I wont do that granmama." Ranboo shook his head and chuckled. This made both of his grandparents chuckle too.

They finished their brunch as Ranboo helped with cleaning up the table and his grandfather left to get ready to go out.

Ranboo carried the plates to the sink where Grandmaboo is getting ready to wash them. Ranboo didnt know where his grandfather was going so he asked Grandmaboo.

"Granmama, where is granpapa going?" Ranboo asked as he placed down the plates next to the sink.

"He's going out to buy some groceries." Grandmaboo replied. "We're running out of supply and by the end of the week, itll all be gone."

Ranboo nodded. "Then its going to take a few hours?"

"Yes, thats how long it takes." Grandmaboo chuckled.

"Ill be going now!" Grandpaboo shouted as he walked down the stairs and putting on his hat.

"Goodbye!" Grandmaboo responded. "Take care my love!"

Ranboo waved which was returned by his grandfather as he opened the door and left.

"How is granpapa going to get groceries?" Ranboo asked turning to his grandmother again. "Isnt it far from here?"

"Did you forget we have a garage?" Grandmaboo chuckled. "He has a car in there, he uses that."

"Ohh." Ranboo nodded. "It was hidden so I thought you dont use it anymore."

"Oh, we still do." Grandmaboo replied.

After a few seconds, the sound of a garage door opening and a car leaving was heard. His grandfather was off to the town to get them groceries.

Ranboo then realized that if he leaves, his grandmother will be alone in the house. So, he decided to stay instead.

"Granmama, youll be alone if I leave so, Ill stay instead." Ranboo replied. "I cant leave you here alone. Mom would be mad if I do."
