Deja vu || Ranboo x Reader

Ranboo opened his eyes along to the sounds of water splashing down. He opened his eyes and saw a waterfall to his left, splashing down on a stream going to his right.

He was under a tree and the funny thing about that is that its the only tree in a sea of assorted flowers on his side of the stream, who wouldve guessed its flowers. On the other side, there was all these trees and a singular flower, reflecting the singular tree on his side.

He looked around, finding himself in a rainforest like area except that there is a flower field behind him instead of a forest.

He stood up from where he was seated and walked along the riverbank, listening to the sound of water splashing down onto the rocks below.

"I wonder what Im doing here." He said in a sing-song way. "Not that this hasnt happened before."

"Oh right, outfit." He said, stopping in his tracks. It was his routine to look at his clothes.

He looked at his clothes and it was not a fancy one but along the lines of it except less designs. He sighed.

"Of course its this." Ranboo muttered. "The same as always."

He continued walking along the riverbank until he couldnt hear the splashing of the water from the waterfalls anymore.

Its felt strange to Ranboo so he twirled around and around in his feet trying to see whether he could reset the place around him. It didnt change, the progress he made from walking was still there.

"Thats odd." He muttered to himself.

After almost a year of having these dreams, he hasnt seen anyone in his dreams. Until now.

Just then he heard someone grunt on the other side. He turned to that direction and saw a girl, wearing a similar style of clothing but not as fancy as Ranboo's. Her's was a flowy dress but not fancy.

The girl looked confused too, so he tried to catch her attention but failed to do so. Why? His voice just stopped. He couldnt speak or make a noise from his mouth. He doesnt know either why this happened.

Instead, he flailed his arms around to catch the girl's attention. It didnt, her gaze past through him a few times so how come she didnt see him.

Eventually, Ranboo gave up and concluded that the girl couldnt see him. All of a sudden, the girl followed the river and walked to maybe find some answers to where they were, or well, where she was.

Ranboo just followed close on his side of the stream. By doing so, he found some other things on her side of the stream, it was only interesting things and not useful things.

After a while of walking, the girl crouched down and watched the water flowing down the stream. Ranboo did the same, he crouched down and put his hand and let the water run through his fingers.

It was cold but also, mesmerizing. The way the water just crash to his fingers and the way it just moves freely is mesmerizing and calming. After that, the girl stood up. Ranboo looked up at her as she looked back around, appearing to be looking for something again.

Then all of a sudden, the girl turned her gaze on Ranboo, now appears to be seeing him. She smiled shyly and waved at him. Before he could wave back, he woke up back in his bed.

Y/N woke up under a bunch of trees. When she opened her eyes, she saw a guy right in front of him but on the other side of the stream.

She waved hello to him, but he didnt seem to see or acknowledge it. She tried again but the guy didnt seem fazed by her and proceeded to stand up and observe his surroundings.

After a few seconds of him, observing and wandering, he started to speak.

"I wonder what Im doing here." He said in a sing-song way. "Not that this hasnt happened before."

Y/N tilted her head in confusion, the guy then observed his clothing. This made Y/N observe his too. He then continued walking and observing his surroundings right after.

After a few minutes of walking, she tripped and grunted. She heard something and then the guy suddenly disappeared. Y/N was confused and so she tried to look around but she couldnt find him.

She tried to find him again but failed to do so, so she just continued walking down for a few more minutes. She found some things to play with, more like leaves and rocks.

She then decided to play with the water, she splashed water in different directions and smiled while doing so. She also just let the water take what they could of her hand's weight.

She stayed there until there was ruckus from the guy's side. Y/N turned and stood up, looking around until she found the guy again, infront of her.

She waved and smiled once her gaze landed on him. Y/N was suprised by the guy's sudden disappearance. He waved then disappeared again.

"What happened?" She muttered, then shrugged, now realizing she could talk.

She continued walking down the same path, humming songs and watching as the water flowed down the stream as she walked next to it.

Y/N was wearing a flowy dress, it was a high low dress with its sleeves hanging by the side of her shoulders. It has a plain to simple design unlike the guy's which was fancy. She was also barefooted.

Now that no one was around, she decided to play around. She crouched down and looked closely at the water. She saw that she could actually see the bottom of the stream. Its not even ankle deep so, she decided to hop in and let her feet be wet by it.

She walked down the stream while also travelling to wherever she needed to go.

She walked for a few more minutes until she got to where she needed to be, another water falls.

She walked up to it and looked closely. She stood there, waiting until she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She walked towards the waterfalls, not stopping to care whether she gets wet or not.

She eventually passes through and once she opened her eyes, she saw she was in a different place again. This time, it was a familiar place to Y/N.

It was a pathway leading to somewhere. She was about to walk when she opened her eyes and found herself staring at her bedroom roof.

Ive got nothing. Idk why I made them mute whenever they see each other here.

Uhhh, lets just say that their sleep schedules wasnt matching so their communication within the dream world is whack and not me writing this at 4 am when my eyes are heavy and my brain tired.

Jokes aside, I just wrote what I could and I didnt wanna type the quotations marks so I didnt put in dialogue. Bam, resulted in mute characters at times. Its rlly stupid omg haha

I still do hope the plot makes sense or atleast the chapter made sense. It gets better ppl, I promise <3
