Deja vu || Ranboo x Reader

Y/N sat down under the tree in the garden she found during her first time exploring the surrounding areas of her home. She loved it and stuck around with it, until now.

She leaned back on the tree trunk and took a deep breath of the fresh air. She then exhaled after with a smile. She turned to her bag and grabbed her journal and some of the things she brought to decorate it.

Some of these things were flattened flowers like forget-me-nots, stickers and even some self made watercolor paintings of flowers.

Okay, maybe she has an obsession with flowers. Her neighbors did say its weird and probably a problem since she love them too much. She didnt care because its true, she does love them too much.

She placed her things down and started decorating. She placed the decor on a page however she thought would look good and decided to write on it.

"Today, a guy and his family came to our tiny town. They were apparently my neighbors' family." Y/N started, reading the text out loud as she write it. "As usual, I hid. I dont like people, they scare me. I tried my best to hide from their view as much as possible."

"But alas, I failed." She continued. "The guy saw me two times and just looked at me awkwardly. I mean, I dont blame him I am awkward."

Y/N chuckled at herself.

"He was also on the bedroom identical to mine in Mr. and Mrs. Beloved's house." Y/N said, moving over to the next page. "It scared me causing me to close the blinds. He was just looking at me, awkwardly."

She said 'awkwardly' in a way where disgust was obvious but she chuckled right after.

"But that is what happened to my day." She said. "Its unusual and different to my usual days, but as always, I am here in the garden I found."

"Signed..." She muttered.

Ranboo walked through the forest, passing through what seems to be the same trees and plants over and over again.

It took him a few minutes to even get through the forest but he eventually saw the sun again. When he got out, he was greeted by a pathway. A mossy pathway.

He looked at it then followed it with his gaze. The pathway seems to lead somewhere and it also looks like its connected to the forest's entrance so he thought he was going somewhere. In the distance he saw the cliff, the cliff where the garden is supposed to be.

"Guess thats the cliff?" He asked himself. "Didnt expect it to take this long to go to that garden."

"Supposed to be therapeutic." He mumbled as he started walking to the cliff. "You really will be healed when you get there after all this suffering, thats for sure."

He started walking over and he looked around and just saw the trees and flowers on the side. He looked like he was in a different place.

While walking he found an old and mossy pergola, arching over the pathway. Its design looks really pretty and Ranboo thought it looked better when it isnt as old and mossy. Even if he has not been here or has ever seen this pergola before, he thought it was familiar.

"Deja vu." He muttered. "Probably from one of those dreams."

It probably was.

He continued walking until he got to where he wanted to be, the cliff, but he didnt find the garden at the feet of it, where he thought it would be.

"Isnt the garden supposed to be here..?" He asked himself.

He turned to looked around in case he missed it but nope, he didnt. He was confused to where this Cliff Garden was until he saw a sign placed on top of bunch of leaves.

Ranboo tilted his head in confusion and walked over. He brushed off some moss and dirt on it and saw what it says. It read, "Garden in here."

Ranboo looked straight and just saw a wall of vines and leaves. But then he lifted aside some of it and saw that there was an entrance there to the inside.

He looked around before going in. Once he stepped in, he covered back the entrance then proceeded to walked in.

He saw the small gardens going on inside, it has the view of the sky and its natural lighting. A pond and even a small waterfall of it, a small hut and a tree and a swing with..

"Y/N?" Ranboo muttered to himself.

She was writing something to herself and so Ranboo decided to walked over.

"Signed..." she said.

"Y/N?" Ranboo called in the most calm way possible to not terrify her but it still did.

She screamed and threw her journal and everything on her lap in the air as she tried to stand up but failed. So she just grabbed her book and put it up in front of her face.

"H-H-H-Hi." She said.

Ranboo waved.

"W-What-What are you d-d-doing here?" She asked.

"Coming to check out the place." Ranboo replied. He actually felt bad he scared the poor girl. "My granpapa said I should go around and walk and explore, so I did."

"O-Okay." She replied and stayed in her position.

They stayed there for a few seconds until Ranboo turned to leave.

"N-No!" Y/N said, shouting a bit too loud.

Ranboo turned back to her and hummed in confusion.

"Stay." She added.

"Well, what am I going to do here?" Ranboo asked.

"Mr. Beloved said, I should start making friends but I never had the oppurtunity to so.." Y/N said, slowly lowering the book from her face.

"Can we be friends?" She asked, looking at Ranboo.

Ranboo couldnt help but smile at the girl's cute gesture. He nodded then replied, "Sure."

Y/N lowered the book and revealed a big smile. Ranboo walked over to her and asked if he can seat next to her.

She hesitated but eventually replied, "Okay, but not too close."

Ranboo just chuckled then sat not too close to her. They started talking as Y/N still tried to get the hang off talking to someone while Ranboo helped her.
