Jules didn't want to go to her room when Brett dropped her off. She had now become afraid of sleeping in her own bedroom. She was afraid another instance was gonna occur in which she would forget something, and all Jules wanted was for it to stop.

She sat on the couch waiting for Scott, wanting to tell him about everything. But when he came in with Kira, she decided it was a conversation that should happen between the two of them privately. "You guys look a little shaken up, what happened?" She asks them as she noticed their silence. "Tracy's a Kanima, she attacked Lydia and now she's in the hospital." Scott tells her leaving her stunned. "Well is she gonna be okay?" Jules asks him concerned for her red headed friend. "Yeah Mom's in surgery with her right now, she should be fine." Scott tells her as Deaton walks in out of no where.

"Sorry to interrupt." Deaton says as he takes out a jar contains the claws of the man that attacked Scott a few days ago. "A werewolf with the talons of an eagle. Possibly a shape-shifter, known in eastern mythology as a Garuda. Tracy's claws." He says taking out hers. "The unmistakable claws of a werewolf. . .but. . .A werewolf who also bears the venom and the scales of a Kanima." He finishes.

"What do you even call that?" Kira asks him "Personally, I call it terrifying. But at the moment, I'm more interested in how Tracy was able to get across the mountain ash." Deaton says them. " I thought nothing supernatural can do that." Jules asks him, knowing she had to ask her brother what went on while she was with Liam, Mason and Brett. "As did I. So if Tracy was able to cross the mountain ash and no one supernatural can do that..." Deaton starts. "Tracy's not a supernatural." Scott finishes for him.

"Exactly."

"If she wasn't born and she wasn't bitten, she had to have been made." Deaton tells them. "Made?" asks Kira. "Someone is trying to make supernatural creatures with non-supernatural means. And whoever they are, they're somehow managing to blur the lines between science and the supernatural." Deaton explains to them. "But there's more." Scott interrupts him. "Liam said he found another hole out in the woods."

"Burying them could be part of their process, a kind of incubation." Deaton says giving Jules another familiar feeling. "What are we supposed to do?" Scott asks him. "Same thing you've always done. Protect your friends. Protect each other." Deaton advices them. "So, what about someone like Tracy?" Scott asks him. "I wish I could tell you. Hopefully, I'll have more answers soon. I'll be gone a few days."

"You're leaving?" Scott asks him. "Just a few days." Deaton tells them. "How scared should we be?"Asks Scott. "I've lived in the world of the supernatural a long time. But I'm still a doctor. Still a man of science. Something like this happens, it rattles the foundation of everything you believe. Something like this shakes you to the core." Deaton explains to them. "Something like what?" Scott asks him.

"The rules. . . The rules have changed."

The conversation between the group of teens last night left Jules shaken up. To the point where she ended up in the library, trying to find books that were able to tell her anything about what had been happening to her. But she couldn't find anything even remotely close. When Scott and Kira walked into the library she immediately hid the books she had been reading with the her notebook.
