It has been a very hard week for me, little to no sleep, not really hungry(not normal for me) and a lot of worrying. My mind has been in so many places that I can't think straight and work has been hard to focus on. I have even snapped at Hutch and I feel bad about that. I'm not myself and I wish it would all just end. I just wish......my thoughts were interrupted as I pulled into the parking lot of the station and Hutch started talking to me. "Buddy, are you sure you are okay?" he asked. I parked the car, gripped the steering wheel and through gritting teeth I said, "For the hundredth time today, yes Hutch I'm fine." I then go out of the car to walk into the station with Hutch on my tail. Hutch watched his buddy very closely and no he didn't believe him at all. He has not been himself all week and he is worried about him. It is not like him to not talk about what is going on his mind. I wonder if all is okay at home, but he knew he was going to get to the bottom of it.

When they walked into the station, Hutch grabbed Starsky's arm and pulled him into an integrating room then locked the door behind him. Hutch can tell by the look on Starsky's face he was not happy at all with his actions but he wasn't bothered by it all. "What the heck Hutch?" Starsky snapped at him angrily. "Look buddy, I know you say you are fine and that nothing is bothering you. But I know you well enough to see that you are lying to me." Hutch said as he leaned up against the door of the room. Starsky leaning on the table with his fist holding him up. He lowered his head down while he was breathing very heavily trying to calm himself down because this would happen at some point. Hutch is not about letting him keep going on this way and is only trying to help him. Yes he was more than mad at Hutch for pulling him in there but he was really mad at himself for not being able to get this under control. He has a right to know but I just don't know where to start, Starsky thought to himself. Hutch walked over to the table while not talking his eyes off of his buddy. He knows he has to be careful or Starsky just might have a fist fight with him as angry as he is right now.

"Buddy, I know you don't want to talk about it and I know something is eating at you. I just want to help you if I can. Is Angel okay?" Hutch asked as walked up to the table, now only about a foot away from Starsky. All of a sudden he snapped his head up when he said Angel. Oh no, something is wrong at home, Hutch thought. "I don't know if Angel is okay at all." Starsky snapped as he pushed himself off the table. Why did he have to ask that question, Starsky thought as he fought the tears. Starsky walked up the wall, punched it and then turned around to face Hutch as he leaned up against the wall. "I'm sorry for snapping at you," he said very softly as he looked at Hutch. "You don't deserve that and you don't deserve how I have been this whole week. It has just been really hard, I don't know what to think or do at this point." "Starsk, what is going on?" Hutch asked as he sat on the table and looked Starsky in his eyes. He wanted to see if he could read his face but all he saw was the pain, confusion and frustration that he had seen all week.

"Well......." Starsky started off before he pushed himself off of the wall to pace the floor. "I don't even know where to start, Hutch. I have too many thoughts and feelings." "How about you start where you feel the most comfortable?" Hutch said as he watched Starsky pace the floor. He wished he could take all of this from his buddy whatever it was. He hates to see him suffer so much and wanted to know what was going on with Angel, his little sister as he calls her. He loves her like one and she has been a sister to him since the day that Starsky introduced him to her. She is one of a kind and if Starsky let her go then he was stupid. But he knew that wasn't going to happen. He has seen a change in his buddy from day one of them being together. He knew that with her it was different from the other girls that Starsky had dated. I mean the way they met was one of a kind and no one would have guessed it but he was happy that she was there for him when Hutch couldn't be. But as he sits here watching his buddy fall apart and he doesn't know how to help, it is tearing him up on the inside.
