We sat on the couch for what seemed like forever when I looked at my watch to see that it read 11am. "Hey Angel," I said into her hair as I rubbed her back. "Hmmm" she replied. "We are to meet up with Hutch and Callie in an hour, we better get ready." "What time is it?" "It is 11." "What time do we need to meet them?" "We are to be at the park at 12." Angel let out a sigh as she sat up, "Fine, if you saw so." I moved some hair out of her face before I said, "Babe, if you don't want to go then we don't have to. We can stay home and do nothing if that makes you feel better." "No, I said we can go and it is too late to back out now." she said as she played with the buttons on my shirt. I put my finger under her chin to have her look at me, I then leaned in to give her a kiss. She smiled into the kiss as she put her hands into my hair to message my head. I squeezed her a little tighter because she knows I love that. I then pulled away to smile at her as I held her closer. We just sat there looking at each other before I heard my phone go off. Angel rolled her eyes as I tickled her side with a chuckle. She walked off to the bedroom as I looked at my phone to see that Hutch text back. "Great see ya soon." I text back, "Man Bro, it took you long enough to text back. LOL" I just chuckled as I got off the couch to get the basket ready.
Angel walked into the bedroom to get her phone when she started feeling light headed. I sat down on the bed as I put my hands over my face to block out the light. I hope this passes soon, I thought to myself. I just sat there listening to David get the things ready for the picnic, I kept my focus on that in hopes that it would keep me calm. Soon I started to feel better, I took my hands down and opened my eyes very slowly. The light isn't affecting me as bad as it did a few moments ago but it wasn't all the way gone just yet. So I sat there a few more moments till I heard David call to me from the kitchen. Now how to pull this off without getting him worried all over again is the question of the day.
Starsky was in the kitchen getting the food and the drinks ready for us. I would rather stay home with Angel to take care of her but she wants to go. Again I will let her do whatever she wants to do. Her happiness means more to me than anything on this planet. "Babe, what do you want to drink?" I called her from the kitchen. I looked toward the bedroom as I saw her walk out. Something was off, she didn't look so good at all. She was a little pale and looked like she had a headache. "I would like water please." she said as she tried to smile. I walked over to her and put my hands on her shoulders. "Babe, are you okay? You look pale and you look like you don't feel well." I said with concern in my voice. She put her arms around my waist as looked at me and said, "Yeah, I'm fine. Stop worrying so much, okay." I nodded as I gave her a kiss, I don't believe her but I won't push it.
After we got everything ready, we went to the car to drive to the park. Angel turned up the music as she held my hand. She was singing along as I smiled at her having fun. Once we got to the park, I helped her out of the car as we saw Hutch and Callie pulled up. They parked next to us and as they got out I felt Angel get closer to me. I looked down as I put my arm around her and she put her arm around my waist. I then looked up as Hutch walked over to us. "What is up sis?" Hutch asked as he walked over us. "I'm good and you?" she answered as she gave him a half of a hug. Callie walked over, "What is up family?" "Nothing much, just happy to see you both and be in the sun." I replied with a smile. "How about we go find a place to lay the blankets down." Hutch said. "Sounds good to me." I said with a smile as we started walking to a big tree. "How about here?" Callie asked. "I love it," Angel said. We all smiled as us guys laid out the blankets.
"Now we know what the guys are good at, laying blankets down." Angel said in a very sarcastic voice. "Right, now I can stop wondering about it. I'm so glad we came here today." Callie chimed in. "Alright you two, you think you are so cute and funny." Hutch said as he put his hands on hips. Both girls just started laughing and it sounded amazing. Once we got the blankets laid down, the girls got the food out. Angel sat really close to me the whole time. As she went to reach for her water I moved my hand. "Hey" she said really loud as she shifted really fast. "What?" I asked worried because I thought I had hurt her. "Don't do that." "Don't do what?" "You moved your hand and it tickled my side." "Really Starsk, getting fresh with your girl with us here. Man, I'm not surprised." Hutch said. I gave him a dirty look as he laughed. I then looked back at Angel, "Babe, I didn't mean to tickle you." She swallowed her water and she rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'm sure you did it on 'accident.'" She laughed, then kissed me as everyone else just laughed.
